I'd bet my life nothing significant is going to be added in that "update". Blitz guaranteed will not be back, rakeback is probably 4-6 months away if I had to estimate.

To be fair, you were of the opinion if would take poker tracker 6 months to a year or more to update to the new software. I am curious where your estimates comes from?

How come everytime they do maintenance or an update, when the new version downloads, it s the same 95.20 MB download? If there were changes made, wouldn't the size of the program be different?

If they are just changing lines of code I doubt it would be much higher at all. The wpn software page has 'not enough avatars' listed to be fixed with the next update; 40 avatars, so look for the download size to skyrocket.

Am I crazy or does this “big” upgrade have little to no new things about it. Without blitz what exactly is new besides a very small change in the table appearance. There is not even 6+ anymore, no new mixed games or horse variants. I know they said they new software would be easy to add new games but that’s not very promising considering the new software won’t even be working after roughly two months. I can’t imagine what a new game type would take.

I'm guessing they haven't figured out how to update files, so they just have you re-download the whole thing. It overwrites files that they don't bother with.
Think of it like downloading a whole new client every time.

It is valid to group WPN, Lock, and a couple of other poker sites into the same category.
