Can someone plz recommend a site for US players with decent $1-$5 SnG games? I have been on ACR and the traffic is good for SnGs, but this tournament freeze is a deal breaker for me....

IMHO that site would be your garage, with 6 buddies and a case of beer.

SOme guy at my table started sucking up blinds while everyone else was disconnected.. this is about 5 minutes after the freeze. I tried to log out and back in to no avail.. He probably has a huge stack by now.

Their twitter says DDOS attack now, and that "Tournaments have been cancelled and refunded as per our terms and conditions".FFS, jesus christ this site blows.

Yeah, I left my pregnant wife in the hospital and my starving children at home so I could play MOSS too.

I play for a living. I can't have this site go down every day. Hackers are ****ing the players too not only the site

Wow. I'm going to say that its intentional to avoid covering the overlays. Not only that, but I'm going to go ahead and make a prediction.

The remaining moss series will be canceled from "DDOS" attacks unless tournaments are hitting the registration numbers they need to avoid big overlays.

Why would they do this you may be thinking? 2 main reasons:

1 - Avoid paying out massive overlays
2 - They're gaining action/rake from promoting the MOSS tournament series even if they cancel the tournament. You have to remember, they've advertised a lot for the moss events, offered deposit bonuses etc.. So, their volume of deposits has likely greatly increased because of the MOSS Series.

How does an influx of deposits benefit ACR? Simple. even if they cancel all of the MOSS tournaments, ACR REQUIRES you to play a certain % of your deposit before you may cash out. That's right, with their withdraw restrictions, you're forced to play and that in return brings them more rake (is better, right?) while dodging the overlays.

On my feed the ddos tweet was 2 minutes before the cancelled tweet. Seems fine. They are cancelled.
