So was down to 3 in a PLO 9 max about 12:30 am pacific time when everything froze. Figured it was another ddos attack. Sure enough the website is also down so figured I'd give support a call. Except this time even their phone system is completely down. Just dead air on the phone line. Called another number to make sure it wasn't my phone and that call went thru fine. Tried calling acr again but just got that buzz-buzz-buzz sound that you get when there is a problem with the number called. Really bad feeling about this.

I requested a payout a couple of days ago. It said they sent an email, but I didn't get one so I called. They said there were backed up on bitcoin withdrawals, and that I would get an email when they got to mine.

Still, it's been a couple of days. No email. No withdrawal, nothing. IDK what's going on, but I'm not too happy with this right now, though WPN has never failed me before.

I don't buy the DDoS attacks reason.

Why would DDoS attacks sometimes take down their website and other times not? Why are some 3rd party skins able to get on and play limited tables/games, but most skins can't?

I was able to log on using some skins and join games while getting the configuring endlessly stuff on ACR. I was also able to sit at a mtt table, when it first happen, while on a 3rd party skin while everyone else was sitting out and play with relatively no issues and just steal blinds for over a 20 minutes until they shut down due to DDoS attacks.

Bits and pieces are coming back and for longer periods because they are narrowing down where the problem is. Their upgrade affected something proprietary to WPN and did not really have any impact on the WTN skins, until the site shutdown due to 'DDoS attacks'. It may have prevented them from going back to a prior date and prevented their servers from freeing up its memory/cache which brought on lagging until it froze up.

I've had this thinking from the beginning. More recently have considered they could have been hit with ransomware installed and spread via malware inside their network. Depending on their backups, recovery is a long process.

I can't log in either, hopefully this maintenance doesn't take too long.

About an hour ago, the ACR twitter account posted saying that they'd be down for "maintenance", so they've at least acknowledged the client being down.

Since all this started right after an update, i have thought this as well. Didn't seem to be many problems at all lag/disconnect wise before that. I'm not a heavy grinder, so I may be mistaken.

Do not believe it’s ddos at all. Like 0%. Think incompetence 100% and or some sort of internal sabotage / conspiracy if anything.
