Ransom money from the site, pure and simple. Site doesn't work, no money is made and the player base will flee for another site. Also, the underground nature of the business makes it highly unlikely the attack will be reported and thus investigated by law enforcement. At least that's the theory.

I logged out, tried to log back in, and am stuck on configuring. So I guess stay logged in if you still are, is what I'm saying.

Once you self-identify as an organization willing to pay a ransom, they'll never stop....may as well just pack it up at that point.

At this point, you’re taking a massive risk playing any chance it seems open. Especially cash games where you can disconnect mid hand. At least with mtt’s You are refunded the money.

About what could be done on their end, hackers are almost always an step ahead of secutiry guys..
So in theory, every site can face these kind of attacks.
It can be mitigated at some levels but not 100% !
The problem here is that doesn't seem they are doing much to prevent it!
It is supper easy to lunch a massive attack on a network (costs less than $500 to lunch a 10Gbps attack) but it costs soooo much more to mitigate it.
I am not up to date to hardware anymore, but I can estimate a couple of 30-50K Cisco firewalls would do the backbone job.
Bare in mind at least 2-3 well trained (ergo, well paid) sys admins are also neede at any time to mitigate every new attack method...constantly...

All of a sudden today i get the message "You are not allowed to sit at this table! Please contact support"

It happens only on some of the game types and certain limits but i can still sit at some of them...it makes absolutely no logical sense..

This happen to anyone?

Happened to me right before I was able to get in. Playing 6 tables now, still with no issues.

I had funds in the sportsbook and don't even have access to them anymore, with no answers from support. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Everything smells foul about this, 5 days straight of DDOS, some parts of site are up but others aren't. Something is at play here, hopefully not, but fearing the worst.

It happened to me a bunch on Stud H/L cash tables I was trying to sit at ($1/$2). There was an open seat, but then somebody claimed it very quickly after I got that message, so maybe it was a timing thing. I was able to get in on tables with more than one seat open; they were also at lower levels, though I don't know if that makes a difference.

Unrelated--I requested withdrawal of $500 to Bitcoin a couple of days ago, and then $700 just now to a different crypto. I'm leaving a little bit ($300) in ACR just in case it gets its act together soon. Going to take the $500 of BitCoin and put it into Ignition. I don't have much money, but this week has made me nervous, and I'm about ready to move on from ACR, as much as it pains me.

And.......here comes the lag. Peeps timing out left and right. Man, this is a drag.

Been pretty cool with all of this but starting to get worried about funds sigh.
