How is this determined? As far as I can tell from the website, the only way to get cashback is the purchasing of "medals" when you reach a certain level and "cash bonuses" from the store... So basically someone has done the calculations and at level 4 (Colonel i believe) you are making enough Combat Points to purchase cash bonuses from the store that offsets rakeback? Or is there some other way to get cash back that I am missing?

no you have it correct. basically on rakeback you get your 27% + whatever you make from the beast. on the reward system you make whatever % back from pts for cash/achievement rewards/legendary bonuses + whatever you make from the beast.

Thank you. I appreciate the responses. Makes it a lot clearer than their site does actually.

It's convoluted because rakeback is paid according to weighted contributed rules and Elite Benefits players are treated as if they are on dealt method. Thus, it depends what type of games one plays as well as volume.

Prevailing wisdom says approximately 3k

The Rakeback Program, which pays 27% flat regardless of volume, its not advertised on the website. The only way to get rakeback is to sign up initially with a rakeback affiliate or to request rakeback after you've signed up via support. Keep in mind they only allow one program change throughout the life of an account... choose wisely!

I have a pretty random question. Whenever I make a withdrawal via check, I do it in whole dollar amounts, and then when I get my check, there are cents added to it. For example, if I withdraw $1,600 I will get a check for $1,600.10. And the .10 doesn't come out of my account.

Not that I am complaining, since even if it's a tiny amount of money, it's better in my pocket than out. Just curious why that would be the case if anyone knows.

My guess, and this is just a guess, is that a check with an odd cent amount rather than a straight 1600 dollar check looks more natural to the bank when you are cashing it.

thx, can u use the combat points to discount the entry of a tourney if u don't have a full amount, and pay the rest with real $. or do u need the full amount + fees to be covered in the combat point equivalent..

You can either pay the full tournament fee amount with cash or use the combat points to cover, but you can't use a combination of the two to cover it like you can on merge. I wish they would let you do that

It seems now the store's open for everyone you would have to rake a lot more thn the 3k for the rewards to be worth it. Especially if you have an old BCP account. or is the store just open a short time?

Don't think so because from what I understand the things in the store are not the same prices to rakeback/non rakeback accts

Its kinda f'd up but as you can see, RB 27% rate does not come in till around $8000 rake monthly, so the $3k ideal is a myth according to this. But, like I said, this was sent from an affiliate, so I can not guarantee 100% accuracy, but in these days, with US online poker, can you really guarantee anything?

The game client freezes often, sometimes multiple times an hour. During this time hands involved in get timed out and pot is forfeit, or the tempo change induces aggressive steal attempts. This is costing a lot of money in the long run. Is there something can be done to improve stability of the client?

Good point, thanks. It didn't occur to me because I never had any trouble cashing a check.

Yes. This is a huge issue. And it seems to happen to multiple players at once and then some are not affected. I have lost nearly 200 dollars because it automatically disconnected me in the middle of pots and my hand was folded. One of those hands I had quads in a PLO ring game. Very frustrating.
