I would be very careful playing on that copycat site - https://www.ourgame.poker/en/
- I heard many bad things about it; it is basically a fake site by Eastern European porgrammers, who employ superusers to rip off their customers in the apparent big highstakes cash games full of Chinese (which are just the superuser accounts they use to lure European and US players in)
The real Beijing Lianzhong - which runs http://www.ourgame.com/
and http://www.pokermonster.com/
- is 100% legit hoewever. They even bought the WPT as somebody above already stated.
I've been making fairly good money playing 5/10 on ourgame.poker so far. I knew I was good but didn't realize I was "beat a bunch of super users good"

Then you must be the only guy - besides the maker of that scam site - who makes money there....another question: did you already make a cashout and...actually receive it?

When he says 'make good $' I would assume it means he's won $ but hasn't cashed, I want to see $ in hand before you can say you made good $

Other than WSOP, are there other poker sites that Nevada resident can play? I see people from twitch that are Nevada players who are playing in Bovada and WPN(BCP).
Is that allowed or do they just have address from another state? I'd really like to play at Bovada but WPN would be ok too as long as it's safe for deposit/cash outs.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

WPN nor Bovada allow new players from your state. I believe that both sites allowed players with existing accounts to continue to play, commonly referred to as being grandfathered in.

The first post in this thread should tell you what sites are available to you in Nevada, but off the top of my head you could add Chico Network, Grand Poker Network, SWCPoker.

SWCPoker has it. But good luck finding anything other than micro stakes games. Now, you might be able to start a game a couple of times if you sat down with a new name and a lot of btc, but you will undoubtedly fail to find regular action at those stakes.

Can anyone point me to a legitimate source for clear information on sites for US players? Online searches seem to be yielding a gazillion sites that I suspect are shilling for different online sites and I can't tell which if any are legitimate. Attempting to navigate this 351 page board isn't helpful as the threads tend to go wildly askew and it is difficult to build a coherent picture about any one site.

I'd really like to find a summary page giving info on types of deposits, payout ease and methods, and types of games offered.

Thanks in advance to any who can contribute.

There are very few places where you can get an unbiased opinion. Human beings are by their very nature biased one way or another. You seem to be running into affiliate websites. Affiliate websites exist to "sell" poker sites to new players.

Public discussion forums may yield you the best results for lack of bias, which is what this thread was created for. If anyone expresses an opinion someone else disagrees with, they can openly voice said disagreement.

But even then, the people who post ITT all have a bias of some kind.

My biased opinion is that all of the sites in the original post of this thread are legitimate choices for you, depending on what state you reside in of course.

It is worth noting that this too is an affiliate site who is paid for referring players. I think he doesn't want affiliate sites, but actual information from players themselves. Which is not to say that all affiliate sites are written by marketers, some are written by actual players. Though again, their opinions have bias in them as well.

I have been on Bovada for a few years but the traffic there has been going down.

Wondering where the best place for SNGs is for US players?

Couple reasons I guess. First the obvious; this is a poker forum built on the premise of players helping players. Also I put in much more volume live than online these days and I'm not relying on it as a source of income like some of you, but as a source of fun/entertainment. I'm sure some of you remember back when playing online poker was fun and not a boring grind. I play online when i just wanna gamble, when i feel like trying to run 500 into 10k by aggressively moving up stakes. Being in the US theirs so few reliable options (bovada and betonline imo) for me that I want any new site to succeed, especially a site that hosts HS games. As is, the stakes on BOL are capped at 5/10 and 10/20 on bovada. Having a third site I can try to go robusto on when i feel like it, is in my best interest. I'd rather spread the word of its softness and get more players there then try to keep it a secret.

With that said, some of the information (mostly speculation) that is being discussed in the ourgame.poker thread is troubling. Hopefully people smarter then me will do some investigating into it. I'm in the "play there at your own risk" bandwagon right now.

Kahn is exactly right about looking for posts from players who have been bolder than I about gambling on a site (where the gamble is the site's integrity, not the poker). I also agree that there might be referral sites with honest opinions but it is difficult to tell them from those that are blatant shills.

I would have hoped that this thread would be the source of good player-to-player info but it has become so diverse that it is almost impossible to pull out a coherent theme from the multitude of posts. I had basically posted the same question back on p. 50 in this very thread and now we're up to 350+ pages.

But, if anyone has been playing a site for a while, had reasonably trouble free deposits and cash outs, and has enjoyed the play I would sure like to know about it.

For what its worth I am interested in lower limit fixed limit cash games, $10 or less no limit 10-36 player SNGs, and micro limit NL cash games. (I'd never had the chance to build up my NL cash game skills at lower stakes before Black Friday.)

You're looking for America's Cardroom and Bovada then.

I'd be interested in hearing from players in MA specifically ... where are you playing, how are you getting $ in and out, and how hard has it been to do so?

Players in MA are playing on all the US-friendly sites and having the same experience getting money into and out of them as everyone else in the USA. There is nothing special about MA law that interferes or causes problems.

There are cashout threads for all the major US sites in the Internet Poker forum if you care to research specific networks/sites.

Thanks for the reply ... I was really hoping to prompt some replies that started along the lines of "I've been happy with site X or Y." The threads dont seem happy at all with Bovada, which was where I was leaning.

You will find disgruntled players at every single poker site ever. In fact, you're much more likely to find negative reviews than positive ones. That is just human nature. Those who things are going well for don't have reason to come to the forums and complain.

Bovada is a swell site. It's the largest one in the USA. If it truly sucked, would it be the biggest site? Logic says no.

I put some money on Bovada to play the derby this weekend, and I played some poker while I was there. It seemed maybe a little less populated than 6 months ago.

But I'll tell you, at some point in time they are going to have to upgrade that software. It feels like snails racing after playing android or apple.
