Only one of them accepts New York, the other does not. If you feel they should be added to the answer, perhaps you could have just responded to the person who asked the question as well instead of questioning me about why I failed to include them in my answer.

I don't know about cashouts, but I got a flyer in the mail from Intertops offering a free $20. Used it, but their software is horrid.

You know...I asked about this in the Intertops thread but so far have yet to receive a response: I've had a Tops account for a couple of years with a small roll on it. Now that they all of a sudden don't accept players from New York, where I've been this whole time, will I not be able to make any additional deposits onto the site? Or will my deposits still go through since I'm an existing account?

Thanks

i don't know the answer to your question - i would assume grandfathered accounts are fine - you could always receive transfers to fund your account - have you tried asking live chat in the cashier?

What is the best site to play on? There are tons of threads about one site and another, yeah its talked about 100,000 times over, but lets start over here.

(for me?)

I am a old school online poker player (I prefer to play live) just getting back in the mix after being out of it for nearly 10 years.

After the whole orange friday thing I havent played again until about a month ago. I am giving it another shot. I still think online poker is rigged super users everywhere, ect, ect, ect,.... but $25 or so a week for fun (entertainment value) I would like to know the best places to play on as an America citizen.

So far I am an Bovada (dont like it much with the anom.), Americas card room (really, why not call it take money from americans), and uh.... Full flush poker (have no desire to play there its dead).

Is this all we have? Bovada/ultimate bet? Wasn't there an issue with UB? But now we play there again?

I have a few small deposits left in me before I quit this thing forever.

Please help guide me to where my money belongs.

hi jingo - welcome back - it doesn't sound like you have a great grasp of the current landscape - i would honestly recommend reading the first post in this thread so you can get a better idea of what's going on. regardless of that, bovada and americas cardroom are two of your best bets. different sites are available depending on what state you live in. you might also consider intertops.

Uh, yeah. Super users, shady operators, terribly run site.

No, thankfully they were finished off by Black Friday, over 4 years ago.

Perhaps you might have been referring to Ultimate Poker. They were a totally different company, regulated in Nevada, for NV players only. However, they closed down almost a year ago.

Live chat checked my account and said I was all set to make future deposits. Thanks.

I am from CT and looking for a site with enough traffic for a limit game. Anywhere from 50/1 to 4/8. All of the sites I have checked so far usually only have NL or SNGS/Tournaments running. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I've been reading up on everything. Just wondering if I missed anything. I do not think I can play on intertrops... or I hate it? I can't remember. Didn't that place have really old ****ty looking software? Or is it like a Titan poker skin, if Titan poker is still a thing...

I thought I read somewhere Ub is now bovada.

Speaking of the good ole times, I played with 'potripper-' on ACR two days ago. Seriously, what kind of dick would make that name? I am quite sure they could not see my whole cards though.

Not a Titan Poker skin. Titan poker is itself a skin of the iPoker network, which does not service the USA.

You read incorrectly.

Ok so after searching and reading a little bit, it seem the two options are American Cardroom and Bovada. Is one preferred over the other?

Both have their own ups and downs. For example, Americas cardrooms gots more deposit/withdrawl options while Bovada has no usernames on tables.

Grand Poker (5Dimes) is ridiculous. I inquired about a poker first deposit bonus in live chat and they acted like such a thing was totally unheard of. "We're not known for that! We're known for our fast payouts!". Really? NO poker promotions?

That is correct, no poker bonuses. Poker isn't terribly profitable compared to most sites core business, despite what most 2+2'ers believe.

The biggest pro of Bovada though, which is a huge con on ACR, is the player pool. Bovada players just plain suck...magnificent stations and very fishy. ACR's player pool is the toughest I've seen out of the sites I've played at (ACR, Carbon, Bovada, WSOP NV).

Also, Bovada's customer service is phenomenal. ACR's is hideous. I play on ACR myself though because I just hate the anonymous thing and Bovada's software blows.

That is good to know. Guess I will have to try both of them. Brovada to build my bankroll and AMC to build my poker skill set.

FYI, unless you rake about $700/mo or more, the rake back deal is better for ACR/BCP than the player rewards. They claim you can switch between the two once, but they're too incompetent to actually do it, so I recommend starting off one account with ACR or BCP as rake back and do player rewards with a different account under the other skin. This way you can transition to player rewards when you need to without having to deal with a bunch of idiots via customer service.

I switched from one to the other. It was no problem at all.

Yep, you and a lot of other people. I tried to switch, not realizing that RB was a better deal at the micros, and a week later they kept claiming I was on elite rewards even though I was accruing no points whatsoever and even had a rep on chat look into it on their end and admit there was an error....which they never corrected and pretended wasn't a problem.

Thankfully I finally got them to switch me back to rake back but it basically obliterated any confidence I may have had in their customer service.

Our forums aren't the place to ask about how to circumvent site T&Cs. But I think this part of an earlier post was a good answer:

Which is not as tough as people make it out to be.

Thanks for the information. I'm a US player giving online poker another go after a 5 year layoff. I used to multitable and plan on trying Bovada. Given the HUD situation, is multitabling still doable on Bovada?

Thanks for reading.

Another question for you guys. This one shouldn't violate the forum t&cs lol sorry about that bobba fett. So the 5dimes shark tank poker room. Is that the same player base as America's Card Room? I'm from MD and am allowed on the shark tank poker room but not ACR. and it seems STPR also offers 27% rakeback. If so idk why I've been waisting so much time with BOL. also if this is the case then I guess there is no reason to 'move' to PA to be allowed in the winning poker networks player pool?
