A quick glance at your posting history tells me that you're probably an MTT player. As such, the three networks you've listed are the biggest tournament offerings for US players. You may find other action, mostly midstakes and below, on Revolution, EPN, Chico, and SWC.

Can anyone think of sites that have a history of grandfathering players when they pulled out of a market?

Why is aced.ag "now closed?" Maintenance or is the skin dissolving?

^^ Aced was purchased by Carbon Poker in June, and accounts were 'merged' together.

The company that owns Carbon has owned Aced for many years. The Aced brand was shut down and all existing Aced accounts became Carbon accounts. If you had an Aced account, log in as normal.

Neteller and Skrill are equally used online. In most cases it won't matter which you choose to use. You can NOT hook your Skrill/Neteller up to a US bank account unless you want it closed... they do NOT allow gaming money to flow into the US from abroad via their services. You'll want a local bank account, address verifications, yadda yadda.

Maybe a MD update. I deposited on SWC, small amt, to test bitcoin and screw around some. Cool site, OK traffic. Games are mostly low limit.

This got me curious about where else I left money after BF, as most of my concern was on FTP. By chance, I had removed my PS a week earlier as I didn't play cash there much. FTP, I had taken half off, as I was just getting tired of keeping a lot online when I could put more on if needed pretty easily. Now that I got the rest of FTP back, I went looking for other places. Found a few hundred on Juicy, emailed and said my acct is OK. Found money on Bovada, not much as it was left over from MTT plays. Not worth withdrawing. "account is active as we look for reliable ways to accept deposits and process payouts" was the email.

So now we have:

Betcoin - no traffic, hope they merge cash with WPN like they did MTT and SNG
SWC
Rev. if grandfathered

I think that is all.

Is Skrill available for US citizens?

The way I see to use these services is to order a debit card from them and use ATMs for cashout. But will these cards work inside the USA - I don't know.

You can not open a Skrill account for gaming within the USA.
You can not open a Skrill account abroad and then transfer gaming funds to it while in the USA.
It's not viable for 99.9% of players.

^^

(Full Flush) is available in all US states except Delaware, Maryland, Nevada, and New Jersey.

Tried to get the OP changed to reflect all availability and restriction...work in progress.

Didn't Bovada pull out of New Jersey a while back?

^^ They don't allow new player accounts from players in NJ. But I believe I saw that some players may have been grandfathered in. Not sure, though.

Does anyone know if Juicy Stakes is safe to play at in terms of cashout and integrity?

According to public data compiled in the "USA Offshore Poker Room Cashout Report" the average check, WU/MG, and ROW ewallet cashout times are all right around 5 business days.

Juicy Stakes was taken over by new management/owners and ever since then, things have been hunky dory

Sorry if this is best asked/discussed elsewhere, but I'm very curious how Carbon - or any site really - can operate in the US after Black Friday. Aren't they just one step away from being shut down in the US, just as PS, FTP and the others were? I only have a couple hundred dollars on Carbon and am just having some fun, but aren't you just exposing yourself to a lot of risk by keeping any significant amount of money on the US facing sites?

Curious what I'm missing here. Thanks for any insight!

AP, UB, PS, and FT, were amateur poker companies with billions of dollars to move suddenly thrust into a world they did not understand. They all used the same processor, who lived like a hotshot big baller and rolled on them.

Things are done far differently at existing offshore companies owned and operated by sportsbooks who have been in the game for ages.

It's an entirely different game.

Thanks, makes sense to some degree, but what is to stop DoJ from just blocking access as they did for the others? Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled to have somewhere to donk around, but it just seems odd.

Sites don't use .com domains and the DOJ does not control the internet. I don't think the DOJ will be in a position to block access to .ag domains considering the USA lost a court case to Antigua and Barbuda in the World Court 8 years ago? and still hasn't paid it's fine. Antigua will likely tell them to take a long walk off a short pier.

is there any poker site like stars available for U.S. players that tracks tourney results and pays the top performers. I think at one point carbon had something similar.

Does anyone play on there for real money? If so, what do you think of the site? Do they actually pay out? I live in Missouri and it seems to be the only site I can play on.

FFP pays out. Here is their cashier thread (which needs more public examples, please contribute once you start playing there).
