Do they just need to use through the USDT taking money and apply 1040-form?

if yes, do they need to state the USDT come from where?

thank you

I can assure you that you don't want tax advice from me, or any other online random person. Consult with accountant.

As for as WPN cashiering, played from NY for a decade on the site with no issues on or off.

thank you for your reply. i will advise my brother to consult his accountant.

and then, could I ask about withdrawing money from GGPoker? I see GGPoker can use USDT to withdraw money. if my brother wants to withdraw money, he only needs to open e.g. GEMINI, Coinbase...etc wallet to receive USDT and cash out on his bank, right?

make sure you use a middle wallet between poker site and exchange wallet both directions

In lieu of all the recent PR that GG has had, I'd be super careful about being slick playing there from a restricted location. I'm an agent there and deal with dept heads directly. I'm quite sure they will move to damage control and it will be very very easy to get swept up in the mess.

Do your mean that my brother needs to use the e.g. GEMINI, Coinbase...etc wallet to receive USDT. Then he transfers to a middle wallet and cashes out on his bank, right?

thank you for your reply and advice.
my brother only plays very small size, so he thinks that's ok. he just worries about the withdrawal problem and how to handle the tax problem.

Deposits - buy on exchange (coinbase/gemini/blockchain/etc) ---> middle wallet ---> poker site

cashouts - poker site ---> middle wallet ---> sell on exchange (gemini/coinbase/blockchain/etc) to bank account

Always follow this protocol and you won't have any problems

Could you advise a good middle wallet and support the main cryptocurrency e.g. USDT, BTC, ETH for me? I am not familiar with the middle wallet.

Go to the ignition website and or google how to deposit via Crypto, very easy... You use a secondary wallet to deposit generally and yes you will have to pay taxes where ever you live. I think you can look up your States rules for poker winnings. I am pretty sure most are around 4000 or 5000 where the taxes kicks in? Look it up and know what you're doing. P.S. If you need help PM me and I will talk you through it! OR anyone...

Damn I really miss being able to grind turbo man 180s from Pokerstars back in the day pre 2012.

Are there any US sites that offer turbo MTT similar to the 180 mans on Stars?

If you are in mood for something different, try finding poker agent and explore the private games on poker apps.

Looking to sign up to play low - medium limit sngs that have the best traffic. Some sites appear to have almost no games running and it can take up to 30 - 45 minutes for a game to begin. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am in Connecticut.

Wouldn't we have to say that BetOnline is a must play site for any American? It's arguably the best available to us.

I’d try to get in on a private club. Most of the larger websites are full on full time grinders and it’s harder to win

Not if you want to play tournaments ... bet online still has a tiny player pool compared to the top 3 options

WPN has them but you're against a lot of hardcore grinders. Private clubs are an option, and the apps are great and plenty of games in that range.

I see. I've always been primarily a cash game player so I'm out of the loop when it comes to sngs or MTT's.
