Looking for solid online poker platforms - not interested in promos or bonuses, just overall quality. Please do not advertise anything just honest feedback.
Currently aware of:
. GGpoker
. ACR Poker
. Basepoker
. Coinpoker

Any other platforms

Would appreciate honest feedback.

I play regular tables between 10 and 25 nl. Help me decide which site to play on.

I don't play to much volume, max 4 h/day during the week and 6-8 h in weekends

GG Poker, Ipoker or Unibet

Thanks,

I live in nevada, I know that WSOP is the only legal site to play but I dont want to play there. I wonder If there is another legal site?. I used to play Ignition in nevada but I stopped playing because Is not allowed in Nevada I dont want to get my account closed by ignition. Can you help me to find an offshore "legal" online poker site in Nevada please?

hey guys i am just wondering what is the best site to play cash games at NL500+ after the end of this month and the end of coinpoker promotion, to my eyes it looks like it's Pokerstars but the traffic has became very low and you cant send a good volume lik 6 tabling for 6 hours, GGpoker has an awful rake and seems like the worst option and coinpoker seems good but they set their rake exactly the same as gg since the promotion so when it ends coinpoker will be like gg, where do you guys play?

you might consider some of the apps, like clubgg, pokerbros, x-poker, etc

Hey guys im just wondering where is the best online site to play nl 500+, i wanted to play on PokerStars but it seems like ther isn't traffic on 200+, coinpoker is good for this month but after the promotion end the rake will be the same as GG and GG has good traffic but the rake is awful, where do you play?

If you want consistent NL500+ traffic, GG is still the main option. Games run all the time, but the rake is pretty rough and cuts into your winrate.

PokerStars is kind of the opposite — slightly better structure, but way more regs and tougher games, plus less action than it used to have.

CoinPoker is decent during promos, but once they end the traffic usually drops off, so it’s hard to rely on long term.

Most players just end up mixing sites and being selective with when and where they play instead of sticking to one room.

That might help a little bit with a choice. I certainly doubt their ranking of places, but the list as a whole is excellent to choose.

Looking to play in games other than NL Holdem or PL Omaha. More specifically lower limits to learn and in the US, California.

I tried all except WPTgold. Global I don't believe has enough of a player base to be worth while from what I see. I don't see it as a serious option for players looking to make some type of an income playing.

ACR - looks reg heavy to me the higher the stakes you go. SNGs are unplayable there. The multi tournament selection is probably middle of the road It's not super small stakes, but not high buy ins either. I'd think it would still tough to make a living doing that. You need a lot of randos to do well in tournaments with structures that continue to evolve towards quicker elevated blinds. Cash I can't comment much on, but from what I'm aware of cash games have gotten worse and worse across all the main sites in recent years

Coinpoker - Downloaded it. Interesting site with potential. I don't think the base is big enough right now to make a reliable income there from what I see. Cash games look limited and reg dominated. Tournaments tend to be skewed towards lowerish buy ins. I think you're looking at mostly $20-$100. The fields there are probably very beatable, but how much are you making for the hours put in? Sngs I'm not sure they even offer those either. Sngs are basically done on American sites

WPT Gold - Have not played. Have heard the games are soft. Probably money to be made there at cash and multis, but 1 table limit. That's the problem

Problems overall - declining casual player base. Gen Z is moving out of poker into sports betting. Options in terms of game types you can profit at are limited across the board. SNGs are essentially a dead format. Many people used to make money doing those. Cash games were exploitable, but then too much stuff on GTO going mainstream and being accessible led to an influx of regs, bots, etc. Made pretty much any games above 1/2 a joke. So you're kinda just left specifically with multi tourneys and those have incredible variance and VERY TIME CONSUMING. You want to win some of these? You're playing for 8-10 hours. It's your whole night. Is 3k for first place at a $100 tournament for 9 hours worth it on average? That's what it often is on bovada. I really don't think so. You also may have bad structures, limited options in terms of buyin types and formats, etc.

I'm a live casino player who has never played online, so I'm a total noob in terms of setup. I'm considering trying it a little bit, primarily to practice my game and log a lot more volume that's subject to rigorous recording so I can see trends better. Ideally looking for some kind of fast-fold format that provides a meaningful challenge and maybe comparable to a decent 2/5 or 5/10 live game. Not interested in the pure money aspect so I don't really care about the stakes as long as it's 50NL or lower and the level of competition is reasonable (i.e. if the answer is some 2NL pool is very tough I'm happy to get reps in there even if it means no serious money can be won - I want to win relative chips, not $$).

My questions run something like:
  • Casino poker is great in that you can show up, get chips, play poker, cash your chips, and leave. What additional barriers are common online and what sites minimize them? Stuff like needing to give up lots of personal info, being dragged into US tax reporting, difficulty of transacting, etc. It seems like there are lot of shady money models like "sweepstakes" and "clubs" to get around regulation and I'm not very familiar with the models but they sound like an annoying level of complication for someone who just wants to play poker.
  • What sites and stakes have a consistently available fast-fold pool like I would be looking for?
  • What is the "barrier to entry" set of extra software and costs to get "standard" statistics? Again, I'm a total noob here but it seems like most online players have some third-party hand recorder that lets you see a huge bevy of your play stats, some sites have integrated HUDs and some require (or ban?) running a HUD overlay, etc.

From watching streams it would seem something like GG Rush & Cash at 10NL or 25NL would be great, but of course that's not an option in the USA (or is VPN a thing?).

It's hard to filter the nonsense from actual concerns about many sites when there are always tons of people complaining that you get banned for winning, the RNG is rigged, all the regs are Russian bots, etc.

You generally don't need much of anything to deposit--just cash out. Most sites are similar--you need to provide some proof of I.D., but nothing too onerous.

ACR, Ignition, and BetOnline all have fast-fold tables. Not sure about Coin--they just updated recently and might have added it.

You'll want to get a HUD if you play at all seriously, but not all sites allow them, and some sites have built-in ones. The 3 sites I mentioned all allow 3rd party HUDS. It's a small investment if you're putting in any sort of volume.

Finally, do not use a VPN to play on a site not available in your area--you won't be able to cash out if you win.

Any of the sites notably better or worse for size and quality of player pool? I occasionally see people saying things like "oh Ignition is totally dead now" or whatever.

Is the software that records hands and shows the redline/blueline charts etc. basically the same as a HUD? From looking around it seems like the popular PT4 and HM3 do both.

In California, which sites can I put in considerable volume at NL200 and NL500? Play mainly in the late morning and afternoon time frame.
