just a bit of feedback for you.

first the challenges, I like them but personally I prefer the ones that has more steps to fufill like be dealt a suited hand where there is 50 times you have to get as opposed to be dealt a pair then next hand a higher pair which is only 2. actually really hate seeing that one appear, on several times ive completed numerous major challenges before even chalking off that minor one. I just feel seeing your counter ticking over feels like progress is being made rather than the sense of being stuck if your on the wrong side of varience for it hitting. btw if you can I would love to know the actual average hand requirement for that challenge alone.

I played a hand the other day. it was only 2 handed at a nl50 table (the table had just started). it wasn't til it was over and done with that I realised that full rake was taken %wise. I haven't got the hand id or anything like thatbut I cant find a link explaining what it should be despite it being advertised on the main lobby. it was a 2euro pot, min raised pre and checked down, with euro1.89 going to the winner. don't know why it stuck out to me but may be a bug.

finally, I think I recall you saying there was gonna be a mini rake race for nl25 and over over the course of a weekend, ive got this weekends dates for it stuck in my head, is this still going ahead and if so is it this weekend and is there any more info on it.

I agree that those would be better, but the problem is trying to make them interesting at the same time. It's a bit boring if every single one is "be dealt aces", "be dealt kings", "be dealt queens", "be dealt yawn".

I'm not going to change this much for the Jan-Mar 2015 season, but I might after that. We're making a lot of changes for that season as it is, including awarding points based on the average number of hands expected, rather than on just whether it's minor or major. Right now I have balanced it so that it takes 500 hands on average for a minor, but there's a bit of variance within minor Challenges.

It's 646 hands on average, so 1,292 total. It's the least common minor Challenges (next least common is fold or raise when facing a 4 bet preflop at 1,188 hands).

Sounds like a bug. The feature in general works - I can tell because of rake per hand at various stakes (plus testing it out), but maybe in some circumstances it isn't. I'll ask the developers to investigate.

Yes, we wanted to do it but sadly we can't. We are a lot lower on manpower than we'd like right now, and we also dealt a lot more hands lately than we expected. We wanted to hit the 95 millionth hand on Monday and were worried that a rake race would ruin it. So not being able to get everything done in time worked out quite well for us, in a cynical kind of way.

It's definitely something that we want to do in the future though, so please consider it postponed rather than cancelled.

Hi Andrew a couple of queries/observations on Milestone hands.

Firstly free money from Unibet back to the players is always appreciated so thank you for this.

I think you missed a trick with the "Multiplier" in a big way (PR wise). If I've just sat down at NL4 to play and I'm fortunate to play in a milestone hand I'm getting 10% of the advertised value of the prize this isn't going to make me feel good.
For ALL NL4 and NL10 it actually isn't a multiplier it's a "REDUCER", players will expect a multiplier to increase the value of the prize, not determine the value of a prize. If I win £10 on a slot machine and get a 3x multiplier I'm expecting £30, I'm not expecting it to be multiplied into a lower figure, "hey congratulations you won £10 and we've multiplied it by 10% and you've won £1, not an additional £1, but £1 out of the £10 you might have been expecting". You could have set the baseline at NL4 with less than 5 hands, then everything would have been a multiplier and everyone would have gotten what they expected or for the bigger players, substantially more. For me this just seems a more honest way round and there's no difference in the cost to you. You are advertising prizes that the majority of your customers simply can't get. As I'm writing this 400 are playing NL4 and NL10, with just 200 in total at NL25 to NL400.

Andrew what are the average number of hands per table per hour playing NL?

Does this promotion include PLO or is it just NL? If it does include PLO then you need different multipliers as the number of hands per hour is much lower for PLO.

Most lower stakes players feel that sites don't really want them (in terms of rewards offered), but Unibet have done more than most for their lower stakes players and are to congratulated for that (rake, missions etc.). The prizes in this case are proportional but as a lower stakes player I still feel this is a greater reward for the "big boys". I really think you should have at least the one exception of the 100, 000, 000th hand and pay the minimum 10,000e irrespective of the stake played, for a lower stakes player this could really be life changing. As always just my opinion and I still appreciate everything you do, Adrian.

So I've checked out the site for a few days, and so far so good.

What I'm really missing, though, is some hotkeys in the client. Mouse navigation is just cumbersome.
Just three basic options (Fold, Check/Call, and Set InputFocus to Betbox) would go a long way. Any chance of something like that getting implemented?

I guess we could have said that you can win €10 for the milestone then have 1,000 multipliers or something...

But we can't make it so that the prizes at NL4 are too close to the prizes at NL400. If we do, we will simply get players on 24 tables of NL4 which will ruin the games, kill new players, and earn us no money.

I've arranged it so that milestones at NL4 have much higher equity than at NL400 per €1 raked, but not more equity per hand.

It's about 80-85.

It includes PLO. We used the same multiplier because it's a similar number of FLOPS per hour, which is what matters.

It means that you went to under 50bb on the ticket. It credits your real money balance with the ticket's remaining value.

This is one of those things where if we get enough people requesting it, we'll add it. I lean towards not wanting it though, because I think it's something that only mass-multi-tablers use. I don't really want to alienate people who play lots of tables, but I don't want to go out of my way to help them either. Our aim is to keep new players alive for longer and I want to push all of our chips in that direction.

I understand multi-tabling is part of the equation. Let me just point out that it isn't the only reason, and in my case it's not the main reason for requesting hotkeys.

My main reason is that hotkeys are much more ergonomic. I have a massive problem with RSI due to too much computer usage with badly designed interfaces. And to me a hotkey option can make a real difference when it comes to deciding whether I play on a site regularly.

Sorry to say, but that milestone-thing is just annoying..

Hotkeys are great but I can live without them. But my beloved "Bet/Raise with Enter-key" is a must-have.
It feels wrong- "mouse-> keyborad's numpad -> mouse".

+1 for using the Enter key to...well...enter the bet amount. That's not even a multi - tabling issue, more of a standard user interface issue.

1) Are there any plans to offer PLO8 & NLO8 in the future? moreso the later please!!
2) Can you advise or repost on the rake for PLO in bb/100 as well percentile form?? Thx
3) If I signed up today, do I disadvantage myself on achievements, as I am not starting on 1st October and getting a full 90 days? Or will they reset from 1st January and I still get a fair crack of the whip? Hope this Q makes sense.
4) If I deposit less than €500, say 400... do I still get the full bonus? sry not sure on this
5) How many hands of NL/PLO do you have to play at each stake to achieve 1million points? A chart would be amazing for my reference... also what's the hands per hour for each variant
