Thought I'd mention that yesterday we broke our (one day old) all-time high again.
I'll make the Banzai list when I'm back from lunch and credit shortly after.

Sorry, I don't want to do it this way. Ewallets were disabled for several countries that we're small in because we lost more money to fraud there than we made from legitimate play.
I was able to get an exception for poker because it's used much more often by (legitimate) poker players than legitimate sportsbook players, I assume because poker players tend to be older and savvier.
That exception means that anyone who used Ewallets in the past year and played legitimately, and anyone who has played a certain amount in poker, got access back. This is a low fraud risk.
But if I state the minimum requirements, fraudsters can go and play the exact right amount, and we no longer gain anything. I don't want to have to raise the play requirement to some kind of super high level where it's no longer economical for fraudsters, because that excludes a ton of legitimate play too.
The long term solution is for us to become bigger in these countries, which will only be done by proper marketing there. See, for example, Romania at the moment. A couple of years ago, only the hardcore/savvy poker players know who we were, plus the fraudsters. That meant we lost a huge percentage of our revenue to fraud. But today, we have a license, we advertise on TV there, and Romania is a big country for us. Fraud is a tiny percentage of revenue, because the average player knows about us too.

After I finished a challenge in 5seat SnG, the challenge tab in player profile did not show points I get for new challenge. Maybe, though I'm not sure of that, this is the case only if the new challenge is a multiple-step challenge, 0/3 for example, if it's a single-step one it shows the points right away.
After i finished weekly moving on up challenge (3rd day/3), the challenge view on the table (small circle bottom right) didn't show that, instead it switched into a 2nd january challenge circle.
I have to resize my browser window (away from maximized) to see the link to player profile This is quite uncomfortable. Would it be possible to move the link to player profile more upwards?
I use Chrome and my screen resolution is 1366x768.
A question: does the system now award no points for registering SnGs? EG, now you get points just for finishing challenges? How about MTTs?
For instance in the old version before 2017 you got 20 points for playing 4€ SnG and 50 points for 10€ SnG. I think I got awarded like 100 points for first 2 10€ SnGs on 1st or 2nd of January and after that I didn't get any more points for subsequent SnGs I played.
In the web client there is no explanation, no link to a webpage or anything that'd explain how the new point system works.
I wasn't succesful searching for such document on Unibet website either.

3. Known bug, did the same thing with the advent calendar missions. Don't think it made the fix list before 2.1.0 was released.
4. Sounds like the default window size for the client is bigger than your resolution. Probably best to post a screenshot of what it looks like to show what happens.
5. Website still hasn't been updated with new system for bonuspoints/challenges. Andrew said earlier that's he's been requesting it but it hasn't happened yet. There are no MTT challenges so they should generate points in the same was as before, not sure about SnGs though.
Thanks.
1. This is obviously a pretty annoying bug, but we can't prioritise it too high just yet. Crashes/CPU lag are more important first.
2. Right - it doesn't know which game you'll be playing. I think we can improve this by having it guess based on your previous play, though maybe that isn't ideal.
3. I think this is the same thing as #1? The table widgets don't update in real time like they should.
4. The client was MEANT to be optimised for exactly this resolution, but it sounds like something is going wrong. I'll test it on my home laptop when I get back.
5. You only get points for SNG Challenges, not for registering. It awards the same amount of points, just in a more fun way.
6. Challenges page is here:
https://www.unibet.co.uk/poker/challenges, though it's got inaccurate payouts at the moment as it's missing bonus money. This page is MEANT to be linked from the Challenges section of the profile, and was in 1.0, but for some reason it isn't in 2.0. I've asked that that be fixed, and I've chased on the incorrect payout problem. Grr.

I've been thinking about it as bonus money. Through the documentation I wrote for it, I was writing it as €B 500 or whatever.

I think we'd need to avoid calling them bonus stars or coins - the former too PS-like, the latter too confusing for casino players.

Sure, done. There're two UO package freerolls per quarter, the first was on Sun 1st, the second will be on Sat 7th Jan.

It's on the 7th at 7pm GMT.
Thanks.

We could only do that if every pay out was bonus money. We can't have the Challenges projection to be "4x €1 SNG tickets, half the distance to €10" or something.
The aim of the laddered rewards is to have it that someone's always pretty close to achieving something. It also lets us be very flexible.

Yeh. I think the main disadvantage of our loyalty scheme is that it's complicated. That's why I really like the idea of the Challenges widget on the table, and why designing that page of the profile is important.
I actually think the profile page looks rubbish at the moment - it has so many different font sizes and weird varied blank space sizes and areas. Once we have the major problems fixed, I definitely want to spend time polishing things.

This is almost certainly CPU lag. Could you post your dxdiag front page and display page please? Win key + R, dxdiag, screenshot.
You can probably improve things by ensuring you have as few other programs running at the same time as possible. It will probably also help if you have the most recent graphics card drivers that are available.

This is 100% CPU lag. It's your PC saying that it can't accept new input at the moment. It isn't to do with our client per se, it's your PC's response to severe CPU lag.

Maybe if challenges didn't expire at the end of the quarter....
HUSNG major Challenges take 120 SNG on average to complete, so I hope it's doable.
If we didn't expire Challenges with each quarter, and if we paid out majors even if someone hadn't completed one, we'd be spending a lot more money on the system. Because we want to spend a fixed percentage of revenue on it, we'd need to reduce it elsewhere.
I agree that it could be friendlier to some people, but I think we're at roughly the right distribution to offer the most good to the biggest number of players possible.
Not expiring Challenges might be quite cheap though, so I'll ask Chris (the guy in charge of them now) to have a look into it.

This is probably CPU lag, as with some of the above posts.
