I don't really have a problem with this, but it just stands out odd in the way of that missions are also there for learning. To me it just comes over as burn your entry, complete mission, move to step 4. But yeah, then again, maybe it's just me.

Another thing... Is it correct that the client is still lagging?

I was wondering if any of you guys wanted to take part in the 1st ever "pick his alias for a month/week" bet.

I'm shooting to rank high on the MTT high leaderboard this month and if anyone is playing it as well I propose we make a wager of getting to pick the other guys alias for a month or week for the person that finishes lower.
(yes your name might be Sectsbitch but hey it's only a month/week.)

Hopefully multiple people will sign up and the rules on who gets to pick whose alias can get ironed out.

If you're in please post and we can do updates/rails etc. in the MTT thread:

How many tables are the maximum cap for cash/mtt/sngs? I always remembered that for cash it was 12 but I cant open more than 8 or 10 (I guess this is limit specific, tested a few different limits for this)?!

Well functionally it's really just the same as "play" 3 bounty tournaments, except that if you win one of them they make you do a fourth one.

Hello.

Does the refer a friend bonus apply to danish players? I see the promotion in the client, but it doesn't appear on the danish website. It might get me to dig up the old twitch stream, if I could get some referral bonuses. Especially with the ongoing mtt campaign as I find them more interesting to stream.
One more question. Is it 20€ per player, you get, or just one time 20€ no matter how many.
Best regards/mumming

There is a limit of 10 cash tables total, The maximum is 8 tables at NL4 or NL10(you can do 8xNL4 and 2xNL10 or any mix of the 2 to reach the 10 max at cash)

I have had up to 16 tables going of SNG/MTT though, as the cap doesn't effect these games.

Not had any tickets yet, probably a bit of a delay with the maintenance happening on the servers. Sure they will arrive soon.

Yeah on the Twitch channel it said that tickets will be credited somewhere this week... So we'll just have to be a bit patient

Busting from a tournament is no challenge, signing up for one with a specific name neither. A bounty event is still NLHE after all. Just to keep things in perspective.

I will still play them because I want to complete the mission and actually finally have time to play some poker. Can't remember when that was the case last time.

Wow i couldn't disagree more, if you're playing any number of bounty mtts you are going to complete this in no time at all. The challenges are always designed around many different formats and it makes perfect sense to me that this one is geared around the new bounty tournaments. A key part of the challenges is that they get people playing formats they wouldn't usually have played.

I played the first bounty tournament i've played on Unibet because of this challenge, I wouldn't have played it usually, and now i've seen the funky bounty graphics, i'll probabally play more

If you play mtts anyway, where's the challenge in busting from 3 mtts? Much better to have an element of challenge to the challenge, in this case, playing a format you might not have usually played. I do like the bust element too, you don't need enticement to bust from an MTT you finish in places other than 1st the overwhelming majority of the time, that's just how mtts work. The challenge could have been simply 'play 3 bounty mtts' - but i prefer it this way, as now when you get eliminated you get a soothing challenge boost, instead of simple elimination.

During the ISP maintenance yesterday afternoon we had to cancel some tournaments as it didn't go as well as the ISP hoped. We are in the process of refunding those today.

It looks like the maintenance improved matters in that we didn't go down for half the evening, but I don't think we're back to a perfect connection yet. I'll keep you updated as I learn more.

We're also making plans for what we'll do for compensation for the problems on Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon evenings. But as ever, if you have any refund requests, please contact support as they can handle those better than I can.

For technical issues I have some influence because I can keep on telling our provider how unhappy I am with the problems. They're very aware of the same problems, and I think this has been working because it's been a lot better over the past six months than the six before. The past weekend was the only real problem we've had in that time.

I don't think it's a problem that can be solved overnight though because Relax are a pretty small company still. That doesn't mean I'm happy with where we are, I'm very much not happy. But the more we grow, the faster we can solve these kinds of problems, so it's good news that we're now raking more than twice as much per day as when we launched.

Thanks, but (1st line) customer service is pretty much an entry level job, so by definition those people will never have much experience. That's particularly the case with poker at Unibet because we're 3-4% of the whole company, so you can divide that experience by 30 odd.

The difference with me is that I've had 13 years in the poker industry including two doing purely poker support at PS and two more doing it part time for EPT support escalations. When they've had 13 years they'll be better too, so I don't think I can take credit there.

I'm worried about offending anyone at Unibet customer service (particularly the ones in charge), but here we go anyway. It's possible to have small customer service departments that offer great service without huge experience, but I don't think it's possible to have huge departments like ours that maintain the same level. From the inside, I saw PokerStars go through that change from excellent but small to decent but huge, and if they couldn't manage it then I suspect nobody can.

I think that the solution is to aim for as good customer service as you can, but acknowledge that it won't be perfect. Then you need an effective way to escalate problems when 1st line can't deal with them. Then you CAN have excellent 2nd and 3rd line support as they're better paid and have more motivation and experience. So I think where your case has broken down is the failure of 1st line to escalate problems. That's something we can teach them and something they'll embrace because it makes their life easier too.

So I'm interested any time someone has a bad CS experience because we can use that to help them get better.

I agree, but we also want to go to new places, and in many countries there just aren't the locations to have a tournament. To keep things interesting we need to go to new places sometimes too.

There was too soon an ante, and it went very soon very high. Why using this structure when you planned to play two days? Especially when you pay €275 and its called a 2day event, you hope to play it like a regular tournament in stead of a turbo
Doesn't sound good to me, but these are generally organised by the partner casino rather than us. I'm not sure if that was the case here, but I'll pass this on anyway.

I tought that the missions were there for learning a little bit of poker aswell. Or at least for having a learning prosses. How is losing on purpose a lesson really?

Again, maybe it's just me, but i just find this mission rather strange.
I'm going to avoid getting into this whole discussion except to say that the aim is to introduce people to bounty tournaments. We don't want people to purposely get knocked out, but 90% of the time they'll be knocked out anyway. This way they won't feel as bad about it. I would be fine if it said "complete a bounty tournament" as an alternative but I don't think it's a big deal (which is why I intend to not get into the discussion).
