Hi if you look at this other way around it might help to see it from a different perspective. The chances of winning an mtt are low even if you are very good. So now when you get elimated from an MTT in any place 2nd or higher, you get a bonus that you also complete a mission step. So you are rewarded for your bad run (or bad play) depending on what way you look at it.
I don't really have a problem with this, but it just stands out odd in the way of that missions are also there for learning. To me it just comes over as burn your entry, complete mission, move to step 4. But yeah, then again, maybe it's just me.
Another thing... Is it correct that the client is still lagging?
I was wondering if any of you guys wanted to take part in the 1st ever "pick his alias for a month/week" bet.
I'm shooting to rank high on the MTT high leaderboard this month and if anyone is playing it as well I propose we make a wager of getting to pick the other guys alias for a month or week for the person that finishes lower.
(yes your name might be Sectsbitch but hey it's only a month/week.)
Hopefully multiple people will sign up and the rules on who gets to pick whose alias can get ironed out.
If you're in please post and we can do updates/rails etc. in the MTT thread:

I want exchange my 1euro banzai ticket and 3 of my 1sng ticket for a ticket for nl4 please. If maybe you made the exchange before read this, no problem with exchange 4 of my 1sng ticker for the nl4 ticket.

thank you very much

How many tables are the maximum cap for cash/mtt/sngs? I always remembered that for cash it was 12 but I cant open more than 8 or 10 (I guess this is limit specific, tested a few different limits for this)?!
Well functionally it's really just the same as "play" 3 bounty tournaments, except that if you win one of them they make you do a fourth one.
Hello.
Does the refer a friend bonus apply to danish players? I see the promotion in the client, but it doesn't appear on the danish website. It might get me to dig up the old twitch stream, if I could get some referral bonuses. Especially with the ongoing mtt campaign as I find them more interesting to stream.
One more question. Is it 20€ per player, you get, or just one time 20€ no matter how many.
Best regards/mumming

Um, you guys get the twitch tickets from the UO and Monday yet? Because I don't have anything, looked through the thread but didn't notice anyone mentioning it, and pretty sure it was supposed to be Tuesday, so a bit confused if I got overlooked or sth.
I have had up to 16 tables going of SNG/MTT though, as the cap doesn't effect these games.
Not had any tickets yet, probably a bit of a delay with the maintenance happening on the servers. Sure they will arrive soon.
Yeah on the Twitch channel it said that tickets will be credited somewhere this week... So we'll just have to be a bit patient
Busting from a tournament is no challenge, signing up for one with a specific name neither. A bounty event is still NLHE after all. Just to keep things in perspective.
I will still play them because I want to complete the mission and actually finally have time to play some poker. Can't remember when that was the case last time.

The reward for being elimated form such a tourney is rather low since it must be three tourney losses for completion. And as 39suited said, it would make more sence if it was to be for regular mtt's aswell. The term "creative" to get people to play bounty mtt's is a good way to discribe this i think

I played the first bounty tournament i've played on Unibet because of this challenge, I wouldn't have played it usually, and now i've seen the funky bounty graphics, i'll probabally play more
If you play mtts anyway, where's the challenge in busting from 3 mtts? Much better to have an element of challenge to the challenge, in this case, playing a format you might not have usually played. I do like the bust element too, you don't need enticement to bust from an MTT you finish in places other than 1st the overwhelming majority of the time, that's just how mtts work. The challenge could have been simply 'play 3 bounty mtts' - but i prefer it this way, as now when you get eliminated you get a soothing challenge boost, instead of simple elimination.
Hi Andrew,
Could you please change my €4 NL4 Ticket into 4x€1 SNG?

The iPad app still crashes randomly a few minutes into a session. This time not in a HU SNG before the start but two orbits into a NLHE cash game table.
My double trouble ticket will expire in four days. Could it be extended? Noobody
During the ISP maintenance yesterday afternoon we had to cancel some tournaments as it didn't go as well as the ISP hoped. We are in the process of refunding those today.
It looks like the maintenance improved matters in that we didn't go down for half the evening, but I don't think we're back to a perfect connection yet. I'll keep you updated as I learn more.
We're also making plans for what we'll do for compensation for the problems on Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon evenings. But as ever, if you have any refund requests, please contact support as they can handle those better than I can.
What's your alias? I'll ask our 3rd line to look into it.
I believe it's done now.
We credited 251st with the same payout as 250th as two people had the same points.
Sure, done.
Sorry for the problems. What's your alias? I can ask our 3rd line guy to look into it, and he can see who was meant to answer the tickets, and we can improve CS.
For technical issues I have some influence because I can keep on telling our provider how unhappy I am with the problems. They're very aware of the same problems, and I think this has been working because it's been a lot better over the past six months than the six before. The past weekend was the only real problem we've had in that time.
I don't think it's a problem that can be solved overnight though because Relax are a pretty small company still. That doesn't mean I'm happy with where we are, I'm very much not happy. But the more we grow, the faster we can solve these kinds of problems, so it's good news that we're now raking more than twice as much per day as when we launched.
Thanks, but (1st line) customer service is pretty much an entry level job, so by definition those people will never have much experience. That's particularly the case with poker at Unibet because we're 3-4% of the whole company, so you can divide that experience by 30 odd.
The difference with me is that I've had 13 years in the poker industry including two doing purely poker support at PS and two more doing it part time for EPT support escalations. When they've had 13 years they'll be better too, so I don't think I can take credit there.
I'm worried about offending anyone at Unibet customer service (particularly the ones in charge), but here we go anyway. It's possible to have small customer service departments that offer great service without huge experience, but I don't think it's possible to have huge departments like ours that maintain the same level. From the inside, I saw PokerStars go through that change from excellent but small to decent but huge, and if they couldn't manage it then I suspect nobody can.
I think that the solution is to aim for as good customer service as you can, but acknowledge that it won't be perfect. Then you need an effective way to escalate problems when 1st line can't deal with them. Then you CAN have excellent 2nd and 3rd line support as they're better paid and have more motivation and experience. So I think where your case has broken down is the failure of 1st line to escalate problems. That's something we can teach them and something they'll embrace because it makes their life easier too.
So I'm interested any time someone has a bad CS experience because we can use that to help them get better.
Yes please.
What's your alias? There's a welcome bonus but yours will have expired. I'll credit a new one.
That's probably related to the ISP problems we're experiencing at the moment.
Could you post a screenshot when that happens next please? I'm not familiar with it.
In order: yes, and no. A replayer is several months away though because we have a big development backlog right now. Notes aren't going to happen though because it takes away from our main aims of making poker fun again and of making a level playing field.
Thanks, I'll ask our 3rd line guy to have a look at this. Sorry for the problems.
Yup, thanks for the feedback. I'll pass it on the UO team so they can see it, and I'll answer the bits that I can.
I agree, but we also want to go to new places, and in many countries there just aren't the locations to have a tournament. To keep things interesting we need to go to new places sometimes too.
Doesn't sound good to me, but these are generally organised by the partner casino rather than us. I'm not sure if that was the case here, but I'll pass this on anyway.
See you there!
I believe this is done.
I'm afraid that all I can credit are 100bb tickets for each stake, so I did 1x Banzai 1 ticket and 1x NL10 ticket.
Thanks.
Ideally, I want the same level of service for the biggest games as for the smallest. The side events aren't run by Unibet, but I agree there're practical considerations too which don't exist online so much. The dealers need to be paid etc.
Sure, done.
Sure, what's your alias?
Deposits are site-wide so you'd be better off talking to regular support than me.
Yup, good idea, I've asked. We can't do it automatically - we don't seem to have a good way to mail a small number of people. But we can maybe schedule them for e.g. the MTT leagues this month.
I mailed you the amount played, raked and won by stake and game for cash games, and total amount played/raked/won for MTT & SNG.
Sorry about that, I've passed your post on to our 3rd line guy.
The page has a mistake, it should be fixed soon. That tournament is meant to be listed at 18:15, and the 2nd jackpot at 18:00.
Sure, done.
Should be later on today.
Sure, done.
I'm going to avoid getting into this whole discussion except to say that the aim is to introduce people to bounty tournaments. We don't want people to purposely get knocked out, but 90% of the time they'll be knocked out anyway. This way they won't feel as bad about it. I would be fine if it said "complete a bounty tournament" as an alternative but I don't think it's a big deal (which is why I intend to not get into the discussion).
Sorry, I don't exchange tickets with partial playthrough.

What is the refund policy during the universal disconnect? I sat a 100eu heads up sit and go and during the game I suffered the disconnect and consequently lost it. After asking the support for a refund I got an e-mail from Unibet saying I made more money during the disconnect than I lost so that I wouldn't be getting a refund. I don't really understand what they mean by this since I lost 100 euro and won nothing? This is the tournament:
Yesterday 19:54:05 26567871 Poker - Toernooi Buy-in -100,00
Note that it's belgian time. Perhaps you could take a look at it?

The SNG battle is still one of the banners in the client even though it's over - presumably you are going to change it manually when office hours in the UK start. I got 251st in the final leaderboard after I couldn't login most of the day yesterday. It was the same for everyone and it serves me right I suppose for leaving play till the last moment - or will I still get a prize for being level on points with the guy who was 250th?
Today again the same problem disconnecting so often, and the issue is on heads up where I did not manage to log in again... (of course tech issue 3)
I know the drill, go to CS but unfortunately your CS office from Malta are terrible, and trust me is not not only this time issue, I have a lot of tickets never been answered, and so on...

made a unibet account a while ago, played for a bit then forgot about it, now installed again. I seem to remember there were several rewards you could grind at the same time, now there's only "missions". Am I misremembering things or was it just a first deposit bonus? If so, has it expired now? where can I see this?

First off all my compliments for a nice event, again! Nice drinks on the Thursday, a good structure in the main event and a lot of nice colleague's of you.
Then off course some feedback!
- I know its hard, and especially in Antwerp, but its nice when the hotel has a casino, or otherwise . The buses were a good alternative.

- And then my hardest part. We (3 friends and myself) all played also the 25k 2 days event. It was a regular tournament, but I felt like a hyper turbo. In our opinion the structure wasn't that good like it was at the main event.
There was too soon an ante, and it went very soon very high. Why using this structure when you planned to play two days? Especially when you pay €275 and its called a 2day event, you hope to play it like a regular tournament in stead of a turbo

I just made a first identity with the captain avatar and then a second one with another avatar, how do I return to my captain? I can only find how to create a new one without the captain avatar available
Yes this stuff is important to me
edit: think i got mi captain back

10 euros just appeared in my account it must be from the sng promo, I wasn't 'trying' and hit a 10 euro bonus nice... just an idea, it would be cool if everytime someone was credited something from a leaderboard promo if they got an automatic email to say, congratulations you finished x, you have just been awarded x.
It would be nice as a quick way of knowing where you finished, and also maybe good from the marketing angle, as people might have been oblivious to a small credit and may come back sooner if they knew.

:Z support doesnt seem to wanna help with refunding buyin or anything in the tournaments the 29th & 30th November (During unibet open & Buttlers stream that disconnected)
I dc'ed & had issues with putting in bets & raises .
partly in a hand where i had QQ & just timed out where i most likely woulda stacked someone with Three of a kind Queens.
But the danish support doesnt seem to find this an issue since the tournament wasnt fully canceled.

I'm probably being dumb, but the MTT promo lists the tournaments counting as:
Jackpot Hold’em 1 €200 GTD €1 2,000 8 minutes Mondays 18:00 CET
Jackpot Hold’em 2 €300 GTD €4 2,000 8 minutes Mondays 18:15
€75 GTD Deep Crazy €2 10,000 1 minute Daily 20:00
€250 GTD Early 4 Bounty €4 4,000 8 minutes Daily 20:00
€100 GTD Evening Deepstack €1 7,000 12 minutes Daily 20:00
€50 GTD Omaha Mulitbuy €1 10,000 1 minute Daily 20:15
€75 GTD Deep crazy €4 10,000 1 minute Daily 20:15
The first 20:00 €75 GTD Deep Crazy doesn't seem to be on the schedule. Is it meant to be the €100 GTD Bounty Deepstack? - that's the only thing in the right price range and the right time.

Step 3a in the December mission;
Be eliminated from three non-freeroll multi-table tournaments with the word "Bounty" in the name.
Maybe it's just me, but i find this one a bit weird. It's just like, make sure you lose 3 tourney's and we give you a small amount back. I tought that the missions were there for learning a little bit of poker aswell. Or at least for having a learning prosses. How is losing on purpose a lesson really?
Again, maybe it's just me, but i just find this mission rather strange.

Props to Unibet and particularly Andrew for the excellent support - I know there are client issues / ISP issues but very impressed that in the middle of all that they dealt with splitting a UO ticket quickly and with no fuss.
Thank you.
Thank you.
