I think a confirmation dialogue would be a worse user experience for most people. But are you saying that if you have, let's say, 6 tables opened and tiled using the tile feature, then you cascade/tile, cascade/tile, cascade/tile a few times the final tile order is different to the original?

Sure it might be a rlly small 'worse user experience' as u need to make an extra click but so is topping up in the way it is now with the reason to protect new players, which I understand ofc.

And no switching between tiling and cascading doesnt mess my tables up (tho I never tested it) but sometimes I swap my tables a bit around or lets say I play 6 tables and my 2nd one gets closed
and I open another one which is then basicly the last table in order but I place it in 2nd spot then yes it gets messed up when using cascade.

Maybe just make an option in settings to enable/disable the cascade option?

"Spaces" is simply what apple calls virtual desktops. Not sure if this is to blame for the table bug, I'd say it's more likely to be a bug in Air concerning window sizes (I use slightly smaller than default tables).

do you guys (team Unibet of poker) have any other plans in mind for the use of the badges in the future (maybe including something in the challenges or organizing some periodic freeroll for some badge holders or anything similar like that)?
I never knew the real purpose of these things. Does the badge of achievement only serve a purpose of creating more "customized" look? Because if it only does that, I would strongly recommend to enlarge it somewhat, cause in my opinion, it is now only clearly visible when playing one or very few tables only...

Adding extra clicks is a pretty big deal - I'm worried about adding an extra click for a lot of people when it only helps a small number. I think that overall it'd be worse.

I don't like these kinds of decisions because it means we aren't going to help someone out, but I think we also need to keep the options menu simple too. I'm keen to keep the client as simple as we can, avoiding adding complexity every month - that's how PokerStars ended up looking like this today. Imagine facing that as someone entirely new to poker.

I think we included achievements in the first place because we felt we had to. I don't think we did a very good job with them (I can say this because I designed them). They're just kind of stuck on top of everything else. Whereas in a computer game I'll feel compelled to collect all the achievements, on our site I don't think many people care much.

Maybe that's because we have much more compelling systems like Challenges or Missions that award you with actual money/tickets. One of the things on my long-term todo list is "do something with achievements". One idea might be to make them missions somehow - make it that you can select the "play one million hands" achievement, then have the mission measure your progress. It'd then give you some kind of award at the end of it, measure your progress, etc. I think that'd make it work better, but it'd be tough for to do for easier achievements, maybe we should get rid of them at that time?

When will you finally change the word 'BET' to 'RAISE' underneath each players stack, when they are actually raising and not betting? I already said this in Tallinn in 2014 at the player discussion meeting, but it's still not changed and I don't understand why, because this is some basic stuff of how the game should be played.

There's a similar thing in Challenges. Basically, I think you're right, the guy who codes Challenges thinks you're wrong, and it's a fight I don't really want to have. I don't want to make trouble in that relationship if I can avoid it, and over something that I think only those of us like you and me are bothered by.

It's a 10bb game with low rake (and various anti-bot measures).

Is botting a real problem on Unibet? If so why not just change the table layout a bit every now and then (just move some stuff a few pixels and screenscraping is defeated)? If someone is doing RAM scraping or DLL injection that should also be detectable, but not from an Air client as far as I know, you'll need native code for that to work.

Speaking as an ex-botter myself btw. Just to be clear I'm not botting on Unibet because a) my code is largely lost b) there's no table maps that I know of c) no limit games offered and especially: d) playing manually is more profitable.

I think it's significantly less of a problem on Unibet than on any other site, but we've caught a few. The important thing here is that we actually do look for bots - I think that most sites just claim they do, then sit there knowing it's very hard to prove otherwise.

As you say, there're ways to frustrate bots by the way you build the software, but I think that ultimately people will find ways around all of them. There're quite a few analytical things that we can do though, and it's much much harder to get around that.

It's just NL for now. I'm worried about making games that barely run. There'll be €5, €20 and €60 games, with blinds at 1/10th of that. Rake will be pretty low in these games.

Isn't the threat of collusion more of a problem in those sort of games, particularly because of the ability to use multiple screennames, so that victims wouldn't so easily notice team-players?
I heard that Bovada (which has "anonymous" players) has a problem with some people attempting to collude, but reportedly has many technological and human measures for rooting them out. I trust that Unibet monitors just who is playing on tables together, and can spot things like a player making a 'clairvoyant' fold of a big hand when his buddy has a better one.

How about adding chat box to unibet software ?
