I should have info for the next UO later today. I'm just waiting for the press release to go out.

I think that's a useful thing too - it can be hard to make decisions sometimes if you think of it as money.

They sometimes happen on the windows app too, though I haven't seen them in a while now. But i am 100% sure it was at least once on this latest version
Some of those Android glitches you found have now been fixed, but we couldn't reproduce the first:

We've seen a couple of things happen on the PC desktop but only one time - we've got one instance of a PLO hand only showing two holecards, and we've got an instance of the turn card missing on the board. Both were graphical problems rather than game problems, but we haven't been able to reproduce them either.

However, I'd find a volume sound bar (i.e. slider) AMAZING. i looove listening too music while playing, but sometimes the beeping noises are just annoyingly loud. However, when I turn it off completely i sometimes miss my action and time out. Ever thought about that?

I think that now we've added the sound for turn to act to the other platforms, this has become a bigger priority. We'll see if we can fit it into the late March release.

I'm investigating at the moment. It's a promo that's meant to be accompanied by a mail but I don't know if the mail is going out or the promo is set up properly yet.... Looks like something has gone wrong on our end.

It appears to be OK for me too. It may have just been a London office thing.

Andrew, is there a reason for starting UO2 at xx:55? It's so weird there has to be a reason, right?

The €2 qualifiers? Just that I don't like starting too many tournaments at the same time - both for practical reasons (if they're both big, we might break something), but also for poker reasons (I think they both do better if they start with a 5 minute gap due to players who just want to play anything right now)

Apparently if you load the Windows sound mixer it'll let you adjust the volume on a program-by-program basis.

Sorry, this went out in the wrong order. The promo page is: https://www.unibet.com/promotions/po.../ipad-freeroll and the banners in client link to it now. 163 players received tickets that won't work (they expire too soon) so we have asked the developers to update them by hand. Anyone who logs in now who doesn't already have a ticket will be fine, those 163 will likely not be updated until the end of today at best.

I recently started to play more on Unibet; I like it very much and also the Challenge thing is quite nice.

But is there a way to calculate (or rather estimate, based on the average hands it takes to complete the challenges) the % of rakeback that you get.

Or can Andrew give a few numbers here?

For instance, let's say you get 250.000 points; what average rakeback would that amount to?

With other VIP programs it's easy to calculate, but with the Unibet one, there's no way to do that.

The next Unibet Open will be in Glasgow at Celtic Park from June 6th to June 9th.

Hopefully I'll have info on the 3rd UO of the year soon too.

This is now fixed and should work fine. Hopefully the mail about this will go out shortly too.

On average, for every 1c you rake you get 1 point. Challenges runs on quarters, and the aim is that the top end and particularly the bottom end pay out more than they did when we were on MPN.

So 250k points in the quarter is 15.04% total rakeback. 1k points is 30%. 100k is 11.6%. 1m points is 34.01% (1.25m is 43.21%). 2m is 49.51%, 5m is 55.80%.

OK my attempt for Copenhagen didn't work but I've now got 4 months to get to Glasgow. I wonder if u can get a coach from London. Don't fancy paying what will likely be more than the cost of a flight for the train

a question about mission - last step :
if I complete 1 major at Omaha and 1 at NLHE, do I still get the ticket ? or I have to complete 2 majors at one game ?

Me again - with another daft question!!

*****

I saw someone mentioning rakeback a few days ago on this thread. Do they mean the in-built loyalty scheme or something else???

*****

By the way, I saw that you've had Unibet Open in england, Ireland and now Scotland.

How about Cardiff please!!!!!!!!!

That was me... but that's indeed rakeback through the loyalty scheme.

I'll pass the suggestions on - are there many live events in Portugal? I've not been there with the EPT etc so don't know if I've just not noticed them or if there's some other reason why they don't go there already.

I expect that the problem here would be finding somewhere big enough. It's been quite a long time since I lived in Cardiff but I'd guess the best options would be similar to how we're doing it at Celtic Park - get a big convention-centre kind of setup.

I expect so, and I expect we'll be able to suggest some options when we get a bit closer to the date.

I've not seen any other reports of this. It should be that you can't win a SNG without seeing at least a couple of hands though.

Yes, maybe. We make 20-25% of our cash game rake from Omaha, and the game has grown faster than NLHE has since launch.

When we introduce a new game I am worried about whether we cannibalise our own players from other games, thus reducing liquidity. I'm also worried about whether the game runs often enough. These are big reasons why we made NL1k as a Friday-only thing.

I don't think Omaha SNG tournaments will take traffic from other games very much but maybe they won't run all that often. If we did them then I think we'd need to start quite low, perhaps stopping at €25.

I am a big fan of finding ways to improve our rake by 1% as often as we can, and this would probably do that and it'd probably be a fairly simple thing to do. We'd have to launch it with a promotion though and we've got quite a lot planned for the next couple of months.

We'll have a welcome party on Thursday night at the hotel bar from 10pm to midnight. I'll be at the bar Thu and Fri nights (then I'm going back to London on Sat)

Yup. There're no rakeback schemes asides from what's in our promos that are available to everyone. I'll avoid going on a rant here, but I strongly dislike rakeback as a promotional plan.
