The easiest is just to take the current price of bitcoin / 1000 and that should get you the value of a single chip. So 74 chips at .26$ per chips sounds about right 74x0.26 = about $19

Anyone have luck getting SWC to work in parallels (Win7 or XP)? Support is unresponsive for several months.

Who cares where the program is located. move it to the desktop if you want. The thing runs perfect and is better than any bitcoin and some regular casino software.

It freezes at start up before logging in which was not happening before the last 2 updates.

At any rate, I do care where the .exe file is located. What is the purpose of hiding a .exe file in the hidden user account folders. Makes little sense and is unconventional. Actually I have never seen a program that installs the main .exe file in a hidden folder.

1 Bitcoin = 1000 chips at SwC (always)

You deposited less than 1/10th Bitcoin

So yeah, if you bought $20 worth at that rate 74 chips is right.

I'm honestly not an expert at OFC, but I think Tim is right.

Points can only be settled once, and if you are in Fantasyland it is considered an extension of the same hand. That's why the number in parenthesis can be different than the chip total shown. The parenthesis are the number of points that are still active to be won or lost.

Orcfi was supposed to win 17 points from Bedulis, but Bedulis only had 7 points left active. That's why it shows Orcfi as only getting 0.39 chips from him instead of 0.85 (17*.05/pt).

And looking at the SwC website it shows that in the order of settling Orcfi had the right to settle with Bedulis first and take the available chips. You were due to win 19 points from Bedulis, but he didn't have any left for you to take.

You are signing up for a new account? I'm not sure if they send a confirmation email, but you shouldn't need one.

I just signed up for a new name to test and it worked right away. Just filled out the form, clicked create, and then logged in with that name and password.

So that's what they want, for you not to play high stakes...what a joke this site has become. How about them fixing this junk software.

EndTheFed you are exactly right.

For people just starting out in OFC I think it is important to not think of the chips as a traditional stack like Holdem or any other form of poker. Think of the chips as points.

When you start a hand you have x amount of points. Each point can only be brought into action once during a hand. So if you start with 100 and play 20 points against player B that means you only have 80 points left to settle with player C.

Fantasyland is a continuation of the same hand so taking the same example from above. If you start with 100 points and play 20 points against player A and then 30 points against player B. That means you only have 50 points of action. This is true whether you won or lost points. So say you won 20 points from player A and lost 30 points to player B. You now have a 90 point stack in front of you but you can only win or lose 50 more points during Fantasyland.

I hope that makes it a bit easier to understand.

uninstall and re install. nobody is hiding anything. many programs install in application folder. not everything install in program files as that's the old win9x style. does it really matter where an exe is located ?

That's very rare and has little to do with the site. It could be the network or anything. I recently played a game where the cards weren't delivered and I looked at my internet connection and the wireless adapter was just reconnecting. i pressed reset and the cards appeared.

when someone can't be reached it give you 60 seconds to log off and come back. if you don't come back you get sit out status and can't lose anymore. its hard to believe you lost a ton of money since this rarely happens and can only cause you to lose the current hand, and of course no guarantee you would have won the hand anyway.. this happens on every poker site including stars.

There is no confirmation, you signup, get in and that's it. Not sure what your problem is and I was in 10 seconds after picking a password
