Quite the opposite. Most of the good players are using emulators and HUDs. There's fish at my local cardroom that bring a small tablet stand and play on Bros between hands.

Just bought a cheaper tablet that uses Android 8 and it won't even let me play. I still get the "unavailable for PC simulator players" message.

The emulator ban seems pointless if they're also effectively banning a huge portion of tablet users. Will they have a fix for this?

But it's still an issue if the change to emulator free locks out a bunch of Android users. Casual players are just gonna give up instead of buying a new tablet just for PokerBros. Game selection is gonna be ****.

So I have two android phone a motorola e5 play and a umx phone running android 9, the umx works the motorola does not. I suppose its would be possible for people to buy a cheap pay as you go phone and play on that unactivated over wifi once the working models are known.

From what I can see at 5/10 and 10/20 all the same regulars are there and traffic is the same at high stakes tables. Most of the regulars I recognize are playing at pc blocked tables actually.

Are the 5/10 plo tables not affected? Haven't been stopped from playing on any of them yet.

I was playing on a table today where I saw two players get after each other. One guy calling the other bad, they went back and forth. The only part that I care about is this:

One player was an agent who simply stated to the table that other player had played 20k hands and had a bad ROI

He then said he had this information because he was an agent.

He then also added that the other player should get a better rakeback deal.

Isn't it very shady to have agents be able to see players ROI and # of hands played and basically bum hunt players without even having a history with them?

This happened at a very big union on bros. I find it very very unethical to allow agents to use this information to help them find spots at the table and exploit them.

I believe this player should be banned as an agent and surely as a player from the union. This kind of behavior is unacceptable.

Agents cannot see # of hands or any stats of players they are not personally managing under their agency (they cannot see this information about other players in the union or even in the club). So if this story is true, then the agent was playing against and telling this information to one of his own players, and I agree he should probably be banned at least from being an agent as this is extraordinarily unprofessional at best. That said, it's possible that this player was just lying and talking nonsense (which might be deserving of a temporary chat ban). You might be better off reporting this incident (and others like it) with details to your agent, and they can discuss it with the club owner and decide what to do.

HUDs/software are a joke and the main reason why live poker will always be better than online poker wrt earning potential.

This was not my agent. My agent wouldn't even be playing these limits. So I'm left to believe that he just guessed how many hands I've played in this club? That seems highly unlikely...

My alternate theory is that he is just data mining the hell out of the tables with a hud running observing all the open tables 24/7 or something. That's certainly doable.

Another possibility (if you don't think it was an account made by your agent) is that it was the club owner or union head, or someone that either your agent or the club owner or a union head told your stats to. The point is it was not some random other agent in your club.

I accept that it was not some other random agent in the union. For a second there I thought agents had access to all players within the union, which would be a total disaster.

Regardless, I feel like its my obligation to report the incident. Even if nothing comes of it.

Traffic is definitely not the same. Currently 2 tables running combined at 5/10 and 10/20 and one of them is an emulator table

how do the 30% VPIP tables work?

My VPIP was <25% for 150+ hands and it didn’t kick me or anything.

You need to be sub 30% vpip for 15 (I believe) hands STRAIGHT before getting booted

Can confirm other agents can not see your stats. Or even other club owners in the same union. It had to be your agent playing under a different account or the club owner of the club you belong to or union owner. No one else would have access to that.
