wonderful, ****ing partypoker server ****ed as usual on the biggest day of the weak! constant disconnection! run by a bunch of monkeys!

Omg the lag. I think I'm going to unreg from the pokerfest tourneys... it's absurd how this happens all the time on sundays.

I'm playing but can't see my cards and am auto folding. Sigh
And 1 player is taking all the blinds hand after hand.
Restart. argh. Unregister. Breaking my balls here.

So WTF is going on with the 250K gtd. It says it's running but it doesn't open.

****! I'm playing 3 Pokerfests and all 3 are intermittently timing out! None of the other 4 poker sites I'm playing at have connection problems, only Party!

I came to complain I can't see any tables or tournaments in the lobby (loading... hang) but after reading all the comments from people who did get to register by can't stay connected I guess I should feel fortunate?

Either way this is unacceptable for such a hugely promoted day for party. Is a basic infrastructure issue? Is Party being attacked again? If they want their poker business to survive Party can't have days like today.

@Colette: I have observed something about today's server problems/disconnections, you may want to share with your engineers.

The problem started after the first hand that was played in the $2000 bankroll booster game. The first hand played okay, but then the disconnections began. At one point I could open my table again, to find everyone sitting out, including myself. The hands were speeding by very quickly, with everyone folding (all were sitting out), like a video playing on fast forward. The "I'm back" button was shown but did not work.

This infinite loop of tables speed-folding with everyone sitting out, might explain the disconnections. A few of these tables would consume a lot of CPU, if no "sleep" is built into it. The $2000 bankroll booster always has lots of players sitting out (due to the 1 week registration period), so it's not far fetched to think there will often be entire tables sitting out.

I suggest Your engineers add a 500 ms sleep/pause every time the dealer button moves, to break the unlimited drain on the CPU these loops cause, or detect the problem some other way.

This has no promotional mechanic around it which is why it wont show in the client "promo details" - we hope to highlight a specific game each month for our recreational players - each will have small GTD and sre aimed at players looking for something different.
It will however show under Whats Going On - Promotions as an FYI page.


The Casual Cash Grab should start on the 6th, however as Pokerfest is running, the promo team may have delayed this till the following week.
This rewards players for loyalty play on our CCG tables.


I asked the poker team to look into this and these tables should now be showing in the lobby.


Regarding tonight's technical issues - please accept our apologies.
The tech teams have worked on a solution and the problem is now fixed. The relevant teams will monitor tonight's action and be on stand by should any further issues occur - as you are aware - its a big night with our Pokerfest events.

I just created an account here. First off... how can anyone play with this software? It is very buggy. At first i thought 888poker was bad... this is even worst. I would say even ipoker seems a bit better than this. What happened to partypoker? What happened to that old software from 2005-2006 etc?


I then noticed you could actually go back to that old software which i thought was great but then my tableninja 2 doesn't even work and betting sizing preflop dont work as well. So its only the 2 layouts that work for this whereas the really old partypoker layout won't allow this? That was my favorite layout ever back then.


Also is there a way to have shortcuts similar to pokerstars where one could bet 2.1, 2.5x etc or it has to be 2x, 3x, 4x etc?


Anyway to remove the blackjack and those other 2 icons on the table?

How do you all even multitable on partypoker? Preflop bets are not even correct with tn2. Wow this software is so bad.
