Yeah , I got some SnG's cancelled, but got 3 that weren't and lost 66$.

Just emailed support to get my buy-ins back for those three tournaments...

Let's wait for a positive the reply...

Support just credit the 66$, so at least that's good.

Does anyone know why some SNGs are coloured blue and some yellow in the my tournaments window?



Party's responses was "Regarding the different colours of the games - all SnG's Hyper Turbo are displayed in Blue some are colored different intentionally by team who adds tables and tourneys to lobby." which is pretty laughable especially since the tournaments are all blue in the lobby, only yellow in the my tournaments tab. Not surprisingly 3 further emails to support about this have been ignored.

Playing on party poker software is a joke on a Mac. How do I not have preferred seat options for mac version ? Also, random ass alerts are always going off multi tabling , even if it is not your turn it is alerting you for something. A big headache .

Hi chinarock,

I can confirm that the yellow coloured Hyper Turbo games showing in "My Tournaments" is not expected behaviour of the client and we are currently working on a fix for this.

Apologies for the inconvenience here, I'll let you know when a fix is ready.

So it feels like I got "FreeRolled" by Party...

I'm a long time player there... probably around 1.3 million hands now...

Anyways they kindly offered me the Weekly grind promo thru here which I gladly accepted. It said the promo starts on the 19th, however when I opened the calendar that shows points per day it had the 19th crossed off and 20th thru 26th open. So I started to grind on the 20th. I complete the 1000 pts required and check the calendar to notice that roughly 308 of the points were placed on the 21st when it was still the 20th.
So I went to live support and they had me take a screen shot and email to them. They say they will look into it.

The next day no reply yet and same thing happens. I contact again and they ask me to please be patient as they are still looking into it.

Day 3 again same thing... this time I say the promo is only 7 days long can you please let me know if I am still eligible for the $750 bonus... again told to be patient...

So at this point not much I can do and am forced to grind out the 1k points a day which I do... they never got back to me... I send them the following screen shot showing my HM2 and my $500 rake per day which = 1k pts per day for the 7 days.



This time they get back to me quickly basically saying "It was clearly stated that the promo is running on the CET time zone" and that's it. So I don't get the bonus...

#1 if it was so Obvious how come they couldn't tell me this on day 1, 2 or 3 when I brought it up?

#2 CET isn't even an option on the client, only EDT and PDT. In which every other promo I've ever done has been on EDT.

If the 19th wasn't crossed off on the Calendar I think it would have been a little more clear.

Anyways it took me 40.2 hours of 12+ tabling to do this... Am I wrong in thinking I've earned the bonus? And if not they should have been able to tell me after day 1 so that I would know I'm no longer eligible?

So, after 24 hours of play, you ask Party why points have been credited to the "wrong" 24 hour period and Party inform you they will start an investigation. You provide them with evidence to compare against their figures. Sounds good.

After 24 hours you again ask them and Party inform you that currently, but after all, only 24 hours into their investigation, they haven't yet found a reason.

The following day, Party inform you that following their continuing investigation, now into its 48th hour, no-one that works for Party has yet been able to discover the reason for the discrepancy of the points allocation to a particular 24 hour period.

Obviously the number of people questioned include those that wrote the bonus offer and then implemented it. Presumably they would have been the first to be questioned by the seasoned investigator.

Frustratingly, now after 72 hours and obviously requesting further help from more members of staff, the investigators are still scratching their cumulative head.

But on the 7th day of work, and hundreds of man hours, after all this is likely to affect many of their valuable paying customers as well as their battered reputation, they then inform you that Party themselves had set up the 24 hour period using CET but unfortunately no-one at Party "knew" that Party had done this.

Party hadn't realised what they had done, nor were able to discover during the event what they had done, and only following 7 days and, AFTER the promotion was over, you were told the reason had been "found"

But, unfortunately for you, the blame lies with "YOU" as it is "YOUR" fault because you, somehow, should have known what Party had done, even if they didn't. Obvious.

Sounds more like a religious experience than a business one.


p.s. I am in the UK and my client offers me BST or EDT only.

Got offered a deposit bonus today, and when looking at mroe details it says

"Released in 5 equal installments of 20.0% of deposit amount. Each installment is issued when:


Standard Points = 1.6 times the bonus amount on PartyPoker.com"

What does that last bit mean? I have to rake 1.6x what the bonus amount is to get it? so if i deposit 500$, i get the first 100$ when i rake 160$?

I think its 1.6x500 so you'll get the first 100$ when you make 400$ in rake if you deposit 500$

So you'll need to make 4000 points in 30 days to clear the full bónus (again if you deposit 500$)

Obvious graph, it has nothing to do with BWIN though, it's how these morons decided to screw every single reg over big time.

They need to have some really morons working for them if they didn't think this would happen. They removed all the big bonuses, then left the cash bonuses there long enough just so you think taking the bonuses with your points is what is best then finish it off with cash. Then once most people used their points for bonuses they removed the cash just to make sure everyone despises them and thinks they are the biggest scum in poker.

Of course I am stuck finishing my bonuses and then I, as well as many other people I know will never set foot in this piece of **** poker room again.

Oh and that's without mentionning they removed all the races for sitngos and MTTs just to screw you over even further while you HAVE to grind to remove your bonus. Did I say how much I despise them?

Once everyone has cleared their bonuses and used their points, it will be funny to see how their traffic is. GL trying to get back your SNG traffic once it's gone for good.

On another note, does anyone know a better way to use points so you don't have to play on this **** site?

The TV and all that is only worth about 1/3 of the bonuses sadly.

think its pretty clear party is no longer a good site for many reasons.

They also didnt pay there fastforward bonuses on monday, its now wednesday night.... still nothing.

Hi all,

Just a quick note to let you all know about some changes which will be happening in the Poker Room shortly.

1. We will be removing all Disconnection Protection cash games from the schedule. DP is currently available at Fixed Limit Hold’em, Fixed Limit Omaha and Fixed Limit 7 Card Stud and will be replaced on all stakes by NoDP tables which operate the lifeline (time based) protection mechanism. The next software update will remove the DP icons and filters.

2. We are entering into a testing phase to review our cash game speed offering. Speed and Regular games at NL2, NL4, $0.02/$0.04FL and $0.05/$0.10FL Hold’em will be replaced by regular games with optimised bet timers. We will be amending the timers throughout the course of the month based on analysis results.

Pop up about upcoming MTT caused the software to crash today - very annoying. Please can we get rid of these pop ups. Even if they don't crash the software (which they do more than 50% of the time) they cover up a large part of the table making it very difficult to see the action.

this has been happening to me frequently. for some reason the last couple of days the pop up has not crashed my client, but normally it does about 80% of the time.

I would love to be able to disable popups in the preferences, but barring that just eliminating them so I don't get disconnected and have to fold out hands where I've put in a substantial amount of money would be nice.
