It only works if I reinstall.
No way in hell I'm going to be re-installing PartyPoker every single time I want to play.
try uninstalling and removing all the registry keys etc. the uninstaller doesn't delete those

be careful in registry

Quote:
To uninstall the software:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, click on Control Panel, and then
double-click on the Add/Remove Programs.

2. Select PartyPoker, and then click on Change/Remove button to
completely remove the software from your system.

3. Go to C:\ProgramFiles if you are with Windows XP or to C:\Programs
if you are with Windows Vista or 7 and delete the folder PartyGaming

To delete the PartyPoker entries from your Windows Registry:

1. Click on Start and select Run (if you don't see the run command just
press simultaneously the Windows button and the letter R on your
keyboard)
2. In the field type regedit and click on Ok
3. Double click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER to open a submenu with a list of
folders
4. Double click on Software to open another submenu with a list of
folders
5. Locate the folder PartyGaming and delete it

Please keep in mind that it is very important that you delete only this
folder and nothing else, as this could affect your computer performance.

After that I would also recommend you to perform a disk clean up,
following the below steps:

1. Close all the programs.
2. Click on Start and then on Programs.
3. Click on Accessories and Select System Tools.
4. Click on Disk Cleanup. After the disk cleanup is done, you will be
taken back to the desktop.

Been trying to play Party today, FR $10 cash games and the site has been constantly losing connectivity (for about 10 seconds at a time before re-connecting) and/or slowing down to a laggy crawl. It seems to be randomly freezing during some hands too, then out of nowhere speeds up and I find myself sitting out.

My internet connection seems to be fine and Titan was running flawlessly at the same time.

It did the same thing the other night and within 30 minutes most of the tables were bare, leading me to think it was a network problem.

Also now when I bet/raise, it seems to take a few seconds for my money to get into play.

Anyone else experiencing these issues lately?
Server issues? Problems with the last update?

I wasn't getting lag, but I did get bad high-CPU-use "chugs" after the last update and after a bit of messing about it turned out to be Microsoft Security Essentials' "realtime protection" that was the cause... Since I turned that off whilst playing, Party has been way smoother than it ever has been before!

Not sure if other virus killers will cause the same problem (I only moved to MSE after AVG/Avira turned into bloatware/popup/toolbar-ridden crap recently...) but it's worth a try if your Party has been running bad since the last update.

I was really close to a PC upgrade about a month ago - nearly pulled the trigger as I had been right through the processes looking for CPU spikes etc soooo many times. It was going to be such a stuff around to migrate so I decided on one last look - turns out it was a disk defrag program which guarantees to totally operate in the background - probably was dealing with the HH files over and over as they change so often. Don't know how I missed it the first few times I looked. I was having troubles with fold, check, bet not displaying, lag etc - fixed straight away and haven't disconnected since.

Yeah, I had a program called "OO Defrag" cause similar problems - it didn't defrag all the time, but when it did it caused severe chugs and had to be stopped to be able to continue playing.

Hi,

What is the Party Poker rewards programme like?
Any good?
How many hands on NL100 is needed to achieve the highest VIP-status (Palladium Elite)?

Any other experiences that makes it different/better than Stars/FTP?

you need to collect 40000 points to become palladium elite. Thats 20000$ rake

on nl100 id say you need around 300-400k Hands.

I have a question, maybe someone can help?

When bwin and party will merge players pools they will still have 2 separate softwares only players pool will be same?

If that's the case then is it better to register to bwin or party? Which one has better software and vip program?
[PartyPoker] Ex-Official thread Quote

BWIN pool will have to download party software and play on party network.
