[PartyPoker] Ex-Official thread - Page 1153 - Online Poker Sites -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

It's working again, but I haven't changed anything on my computer. It just appears to happen randomly. The software also seems to be very laggy when I try to navigate through the menus. I sent a email to support a while back, but I'm still waiting on a response. I'm playing from Canada if that makes any difference.

SNG Hero traffic at this hour (11PM-6AM ET) is terrible. Why not make the 5 for 1 promotion for this hours? Or happy hours with 2x points??

I think someone mentioned the idea of running all-ins twice, as well as revealing cards straight away. I did think that this would slow things down, but so long as the option is constant (ie not something that players opt for each time) then this is not a huge factor. I think some sites do this already so I'd suggest Party consider it.

I'd suggest that regs would see it as reducing variance and rec players would see is as fun. Of course, if people don't like it then they don't click the option so nobody really loses (other than other players who have to wait a second longer or whatever for the hand to finish).

In all seriousness, the more I think about the more I think this would be a distinct improvement for most players.

Does anyone know how many players click the run it twice option on sites that have it?

Not seeing holecards until the end is a real pain, would love to see it fixed.

Also, any promos for cash game players for October Colette? Would love love love to see the return of the Gladiator!

Sorry to bring this up again, but I'm still only able to log in inconsistently at random times throughout the day. Support is taking 24+ hours to reply to my emails, so I'm hoping there a chance someone here can help me in the meantime. I'd like to resolve this problem soon so I can deposit my roll and start playing.

other things to note:

- No change when uninstalling third party firewalls and antivirus.
- Windows firewall is disabled.
- Ports 2147 and 443 have been forwarded through my router.
- I'm using a wired connection.
- No problems logging into stars, 888, or any games/apps/streaming on my PC.

Another thing you can try is tracert, similarly you did the ping. When the main connection can't connect to party, put "tracert x.x.x.x" in the command prompt and see if the traffic takes a different route with the different connection and possibly find the spot where the problem occurs.

I think most practical solution will be changing ISPs (unless the problem is on party's or your end but doesn't sound like that) but at least you would know where the problem is.

Can anyone tell me what a "white partypoker icon" at the table in the corner of a players name (box) stands for (classic table design)?

I know a yellow icon indicates a "partypoker-pro" which is also shown in the tournament lobby, but white icons are just shown at the table and I've seen a player (like "Gl4diat0r") having that white icon on one day and haven't had it the next next day, so I was wondering what this is all about..

@ Colette: Could you tell us if there will be sth. like an "Autumn-Sale" again or any other loyality points store promotion planned for near future ?

I'm looking for a good place to play low stakes cash games cause Bodog sucks now. Just want to see what your guys thoughts are. Where are the best places party, 888, pokerstars, somewhere else? Is party full of bots and nits or are the cash games good. If someone can tell me the best cash game site will give you some pokerstars money cause I'm done playing there. Thanks a lot .

You might want to give up on online poker then.

If you can't beat bodog, you can't beat any other site.
The Bodog lowstakes are similar to play money on party and other sites

Party has fun fastforward games though

Seating scripts and other predatory tools are prohibited - others are not however we dont offer tech support for 3rd party tools
Also we do not guarantee these tools will work alongside our software
