Unfortunately history has shown you must do 2 things, very faithfully:
1. Always be polite with the customer service people you do talk to or communicate with via email. Be clear that you expect things to be resolved and followed up on, but be nice and get their names every time.
2. Constantly update here, every 2 or 3 days. Make sure they know you'll be doing it. Of course it's just to educate us so that potential players can know what to expect
This way the community knows what's going on and perhaps can offer some more assistance. At least there will be accountability.
I have read threads from player's who had to fight for several months to get money that was obviously due to them. Just be nice though.
