Can someone catch me up to speed with whats going on with Merge? I play on WPN but am looking to start playing on a Merge skin again.

From my understanding Carbon and Aced are still together? Do they have the most traffic?

Are all other merge skins solo?

Does Carbon have the biggest gtds still?

Are cashouts still happening?

Do we know why they all split in the first place?

FWIW, I was talking to chat asking about the structures and out of no where the rep came back and said "The Sunday $215 is now $50K" when I asked why it was being changed. When I responded saying it was $100K in my client still she quickly said it was a mistake... Maybe a sign of things to come? It overlays every week so I wouldn't be surprised to see it lowered. This did come from a member of one of the worst support teams in the history of online poker so it could have been a legit mistake. Let's hope...

5k start in the $530 instead of 15k? 5k in the $215 100k instead of 10k? 5k in the second chance instead of 7500?

Obviously they're just trying to get as many bullets fired as possible, but this is truly terrible. What a joke.

Wasn't there something similar on here before with the names and it turned out to be one of the sports book skins that just assigned names to its players? Maybe I am remembering something else.

Yeah I was hesitant to post the screenshot and contacted a mod first but they never replied. I just thought it was strange. They had action so maybe I'm just missing something.

I've played with the X and Y accounts and reported both of them as well. Seem to play together (or at the very least not playing against each other) and play like they are the same person honestly. Nothing has ever been done and I just refuse to sit with them both. I've called this out at the table as well and now when one sits with me the other usually doesn't. It's worth reporting and maybe Merge will do something finally. If something needs done that is.

And FWIW, I have thousands of hands VS both of them, not just a few.

small field MTTs with this late registration just are not tournaments anymore. late reg ends, 28 ppl left: chip leader is 22 BBs deep, and more than half the field are under 10.

its just not how tournaments are supposed to be.

I came in here to complain about the 5k stacks as well. The only logic I can think of is people will bust faster and more people will re enter but I don't think its sound logic.

I think by the time the re entry ends stacks are way to short for people to re enter. I probably would re enter long if I was getting more chips. For this tourney I probably only would have re entered if I got knocked out in the first few blind levels.

The $100K is bleeding money every week so they tried tweaking it to stop the bleeding. Mean while the Bovada $162 is exceeding it's guarantee on the regular with less of a buy in. When will Merge learn that all of these moronic changes are just making things worse? Had they just left things a lone they wouldn't be having these problems, but they wanted to manipulate the player pool and structures..

Have played a bunch with both, both separate and at the same time. Never seen anything strange. One is a pro shortstacker and the other is a solid reg. Dk what's up with the names but haven't seen anything to raise suspicion.
