Does Carbon still do that with VIP points?

I really couldn't find anything about VIP points and couldn't even find how many I have?

Just wondering where VIP Points are shown and where I can trade them in for tournament tickets?

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks..
VIP point situation is interesting. They totally try to hide the fact that they exist but they still do. I'm still able to buy into certain daily guarantee tournaments with player points by selecting the coupon option even when I don't have a coupon. It's also near impossible to check your player point balance.

Get Bitcoin for withdrawals. My last withdrawal took less than 24 hours. There is a 5% fee taken by Carbon but it costs nothing for me to put in my bank via the debit card method on Circle. See the withdrawal thread. Good luck.

Man, thanks for that information. I had a feeling that VIP points were sort of "hidden".

Thanks again..

That IS interesting. Some time ago (documented somewhere in this thread) they said that VIP points were now only good for tracking progress on clearing bonuses and maybe some of the races/leader-boards. Sounds like you found a workaround that I bet was unintended. Better snap up all you can before they figure it out.

Yea the player points havn't been used for anything in years.
Your saying randomly when you select the coupon it works for you?
What daily tournaments has this happened for you?
I just tried this and it did not work for me.

If there were still VIP points I would have a ton of them. Just tried registering for a nightly $11 with both types of coupon, and it didn't work.

Also you said it is NEARLY impossible to check player points balance. How is it not totally impossible?

I call BS.

When you are adding on in a rebuy tournament, the popup asking if you would like to addon shows your player points balance.

Damn. I miss those rebuys. Especially the dollar dazzler and 1/2 rebuys/addon. But, they're all turbo now. I loved the regular 10 minute levels that allowed some play in addition to the larger prize pool. Just can't get into those turbos. Oh well.

Yeah the player points thing is a glitch or just pure laziness on the part of their software team. Kind of like how you can't choose tables or specific seats in cash games but can when using the mobile client.

On merge, sng registration is anonymous. It just lists "registered player" for each person, then once the sng starts you can see their screennames (so it is different from Bovada where the players are anonymous even in the game).

This system has some pros and some cons, and obviously benefits some people and hurts others. It is a choice of the site what is in their best interest.

One issue is the following though. Merge also has a "friend" feature where you can add ppl as friends, and then see when they are registered for games. Several of the hs husng players are "friends," and therefore for them the lobbies are essentially not anonymous because they know when each other are registering, while they are still anonymous for everyone else not in that clique. Even without the friend system people could still use skype to find out who is registered. The system is not fair if it does not apply to everyone equally. I do not think that some people should be able to know who is registered in games while others do not have the same information.

If I sit at 50/100 NL on ps and get sat by regs I can just sit out. If I choose to sit I see exactly who is at the table in advance, like everyone else. It is completely different from the situation on Merge.

If I see two ppl regged in 60 husngs in Merge and I sit, I don't know whether it's a good reg or random/bad reg. But you know for sure that you aren't sitting chucklet/bart/navtones/apparently IceBergSimpson too. It's not fair for you to know who you are sitting and for others (me) to not know.

And now IceBerg (by far worst of the 60+ regs) yapping in chat about how his "team" is gonna make sure I never get a lobby. This system is complete BS. And not like I am just some bumhunter, 90% of my games are vs. regs, and I've been battling all the top regs for yrs over different sites.

Does it matter what state you withdraw from? I live in Minnesota and have been playing on carbon for over a year, never withdrawn because I wasn't sure how the process worked, or if they would confiscate my money because I wasn't in NJ or something.

Has anyone self-banned themselves from the Carbon Casino?

I want to only be able to play poker and use the sportsbook.

If I contact customer service, would they be able to "ban" me from just the casino and not poker and the sportsbook?

Or would that be some sort of red flag for them and they might ban me from the entire site?

Thanks for any info..
