We had noticed that Carbon Poker were in fact randomly selecting payments so that they could process more payments and ensure that more customers were dealt with under the constraints imposed by the payment processing provider. We have advised them that this is not the correct or fair practice to follow and that they should process transactions in the order that they have been received.

I find it much more likely Merge has simply been "playing favorites," trying to pacify those that have been relentlessly blowing up their inbox w/ death threats and tattling on them to Antigua.

Absolutely. Although I'm not sure how far death threats will take you in terms of speeding up the pay times. I have never even cursed once in any of my email correspondence or live chats with merge. I have heard of off shore sites confiscating balances due to players using inappropriate language with their reps.

+1

1) I highly doubt Kahn will have an answer to this one.
2) IMHO, the latter is the most likely. Recreational players don't use Skrill and we've all seen how they treat pros.

This is low even for them. People rely on this money.

And to add to your list, my last Skrill withdrawal was requested late April and was received late June after emailing Antigua (~60 days).

I'd disagree with that assumption, your post hints that "only pros use Skrill" and that simply isn't true at all. I also doubt that many "serious pros" remain on Merge because those would depend on reliable withdrawal times to ensure to make a living, which isn't necessarily given on Merge as of lately.

*I'd prefer have this thread for strict facts about processing.
Please feel free to move this to the discussion thread.*

How many US/CAN recreational players have deposited on Carbon via Skrill, roughly?

Of course pros are still on Merge. Even if they're not still playing there, they're still trying to withdrawal tens of thousands of dollars via Skrill and wires.

the vast majority of players on merge are north American, Canada and America don't have skrill as an option to deposit. The vast amount of rec players on there are from these countries, therefore I assume that there is more attempting to cashout via skrill then deposit with this method.

The first sentence contradicts the second, as they would not be helping the poker ecology at all and rather hurt it by not giving any action / rake while taking funds out of the pool. What do you reckon is the percentage of remaining "poker pros" that make a living on Merge still by actively participating?

Ok, so skipping over the first part of you being incorrect - vast amounts of recreational Skrill users on Merge - when did you say anything about helping the ecology?

The point is there are pros on Merge. No need for quotation marks. The percentage is extraneous. I feel like you're being argumentative for the sake of it or because you're bored. So, good luck.

I hope we all get paid.

I have no idea how you draw that from what I have said, but I sure hope your reading abilities at the poker tables are better. Best of luck, I will waste the remainder of this week with work.

My response was a hyperbolic, tongue-in-cheek reply to the statement above. Suspect76 summed up what I was getting at.

This is why 2p2 sucks. Constant irrelevant bickering. Relax.

My whole opinion was that I tend to lean toward the camp of people that has Merge slow-paying regs (I'll avoid the word 'pro' so as not to start another dozen posts of semantics).

Good day, sir.

Spoiler:
I SAID GOODAY!

What i dont understand is what is going to happen once the ops starts and people make money? are they going to slow down even further? they havent caught up with april and it is now the middle of august. Me no comprende. I just REALLY hope they add bitcoin. Would be a benefit for us and for them. Would be the biggest site by far if they did that.

I'm concerned that they're gonna have too much overlay during OPS and go deeper in the hole.

They are not above canceling the events and/or changing the guarentees as they did last OPS
