Not a fan of the new Hand History... And every now and then when I open the HH, the whole poker client shuts down and I have to reboot. Saw someone else ITT mention it...

I was playing 2 cash games and a sitngo. On the 2 cash games I could bring up the Hand History. But on the sitngo when I brought up the Hand History, it showed the Hand History for one of the cash games.

I take back my initial good words about the new HH, I now do NOT like it. Not being able to see the mucked cards is ridiculous--when is that being fixed?

Also, when you are multi-tabling and you hit the 'last hand' view, you never know which table's 'last hand' you're going to get.

Lastly (regarding SNG's and MTT's), does it bug anyone else that when you look at the last hand, and you're looking at the "Small Blind" and "Big Blind" that the small blind gets cut off before you can see the size? Say blinds are 150/300, it will say "1. Small Blind..." and then nothing. Then it will read "2. Big Blind 30..." (should read 300) So it doesn't even give you the full '300,' it looks like '30.' This is annoying and can cause unneeded confusion/work when multi-tabling.

Damn Merge, if you actually paid some online poker players to do some short-term consulting work with, you'd easily be the top dog making bank, but instead you keep f'ing up royally.

What is old aced icon? Can you write clearly how did you manage to do it, please?

I turns out that though you can't "see" the mucked cards in the Hand History window, you can "read" what they were. There's a scroll bar with the up and down arrows. If you scroll to the bottom it will tell you the mucked cards that you can't see in the visual graphics. Pretty lame that Merge didn't just make it so you can see the cards. I'm not scrolling to the bottom every time I want to see what the mucked hand was.

This is most likely their evil plan. They can claim to still show mucked cards but it's such a giant pain that you just give up looking altogether.

Maybe. I'm just hoping that HEM2 writes to code that displays mucked cards for a few seconds (in a shaded out form) over the player(s) who mucked hands on the river. This is the way HEM2 worked before this update. That would solve the problem nicely. I already set my "display mucked cards" for a 5-second showing anyway.

The icon on my desktop? I thought I was being pretty clear even though computer talk is like a foreign language to me.

If you downloaded both Aced and Carbon at some point in the past you will have an icon for each one on your computer screen. The Carbon one is black with a blue diamond, the Aced is a light color with a red spade. Each one is a link to data on your harddrive. They are NOT identical. So what I believe he was saying is that the problem occurred when he tried logging on through the Aced icon, but when he tried doing it with the Carbon icon, all was OK.

When Aced closed down and transferred accounts over to Carbon some of us were left with an Aced icon on our desktops that actually directed us right to the carbon poker client. I believe this is what he is referring to.

VIPs are a thing of the past like someone said a few pages back. The amount you have/had no longer shows up next to your available balance when you're signing up for a SNG/MTT. They're gone. Funny though, the sixth line in the tourney details still informs you of how many VIPs you'll get for playing in a SNG or MTT. LOL

I still have both on my desktop, though I only have one account now since the merger is complete. However, I log in through the Aced icon.

As an FYI for anyone having problems with the new hand history not working, I tried the advice from above and it fixed the problem. Thanks for the idea UnLuckyOne!

If someone rabbits, the cards will be seen on the actual poker table, but once again, not visually in the hand history. You have to scroll down just like with mucked cards to see the rabbit cards described in written format (Jh 7c 4s). This is stupid.

Not being able to see the blinds fully written out (can't see the SB at all) is really getting annoying and now I've noticed that you can't see the antes whatsoever. This needs to be taken care of NOW.

Yet another problem: Say I have two tables going. When I click on the 'previous hand' view on table 1, I expect the hand shown to be from table 1. But too often it's the last hand from table 2 or vice versa. Please change it so that it shows me only the last hands played at the table I'm selecting. I shouldn't have to search through the list of hand I.D.s that they now post on the left hand side.

Ugh, it might be better to take a few days off and see if they correct any of these annoyances.

You may have a point to an extent. However, I think a big reason it seems so negative in this thread is because Merge keeps making negative decisions. Also people who are satisfied with the website are a lot less likely to come on here and state that.

If you happen to use PT4, you will find that you cannot import hands or use your HUD as of the last Merge update.

You can still use and view your VIP balance on the mobile site

Does HEM2 not work anymore on here? Havent checked the thread or played in about a week

I understand that. And people who just play occasionally or for fun should realize that they don't have the same level of "investment" as those who play a lot. Nor are they as concerned with some of the finer details of a poker site. However, the people running the poker site are familiar with those details, and as such I feel this is a good place to vent frustrations. Merge may not have an official rep here anymore, but I don't doubt someone over there is reading this stuff.

You need to install the latest beta build from our thread or releases forum.

You think it's just fine for Carbon to simply take away the VIP points the players have earned? You should apply for a job with the DOJ.
