Just the reality of foreign checks in the current environment. Ship the check to their office and they'll send u WU instead

I've already cashed the check, so not sure how I would ship it anywhere. Plus support said above I could ship it to them and then they'd stop it for a $250 fee, not exactly what I'm looking for.

Was on the phone app, so I didn't see the part where you said you deposited it already. You obviously can't cancel it at this point and will just have to wait until it clears collections and eat the extra fees.

Yeah I'm def stuck at this point. Just wondering if this has happened to others yet/warning others that if you can't afford to be without withdrawn funds with fees reduced for 6 weeks then withdraw by check isn't a viable option.

It's the standard at some banks to send international checks to collections. Some banks don't even take international checks (e.g. my credit union). I had to open a new bank account to deposit a check in December from Intertops, which is a big risk. Depositing a foreign check that could bounce in to a new bank account would likely get the account closed, but I gambooled.

It's not uncommon for smaller banks, CU, regional banks, etc to not handle international checks in a timely manner. It's also not uncommon for said types of banks to charge extra fees when sending them off to collections.

Best bet is to use a larger Intertnational bank.

Also, I don't think there is too much risk with Intertops checks bouncing.... they are a pretty solid operation without much history of bad checks (though it can happen to anyone in this business).

I recently reactivated an old party poker intertops account. I wanted to take full advantage of the 1sdt time deposit bonus(not reload) but was limited to depositing 250 with my cc. Support told me that I did not have to use the bonus at that time so i deposited, now that my limits have been increased and I can deposit up to 1k support is telling me I can't use bonus code on anything other than first deposit. Can one of the reps here help me out?

Is there a discussion thread for Intertops withdrawals and processing times? I couldn't find one.

Can some players give me some insight as to the normal processing time for USA player withdrawals? I'm thinking of depositing there and would like to hear some recent firsthand experiences with their cashier.

The cashout times they give you on the site have been pretty accurate for the last year or so.

I havent made a withdrawal in a while but people have reported receiving checks in like 5-7 days- WU 3-7 days.

Most of the players I talk to request checks Sun night or Monday morning and have a check by Friday. Last 3 I've heard were 4, 6 and 5 days respectively.

WU was 3 days the last one I was told of.


As the poster above stated, the times listed in the cashier are very accurate.

Can someone explain exactly how to use WU? Do I need to make a WU account? How does this whole process work? Also my drivers license is broken and taped back together, will that still work?

I forgot to mention that you will need to get receiver details from Intertops support...whole process takes ~15-20 minutes.

what would happen if I requested a transfer and WU tells me they cant give me the money because my drivers license is broken? Is it just a loss I have to take?

I doubt anyone is going to have experience with this exact situation... why not just get a new drivers license first?
