Should I be worried about losing my account if I live in the US, and losing all of my money?

I don't see how that's a logical conclusion. Why does this new policy worry you?

FWIW, I've been playing on a Merge skin that stopped accepting U.S. players over a year ago, even before the general Merge semi-ban on U.S. based players. When most Merge skins resumed accepting new U.S. players, my skin did NOT. Personally I am very happy with their decision, as I continue to enjoy their super fast cashouts (they have their own cashier), and instant live support (that actually operates in real time), with a decreased probability that DOJ will target them...

In other words, if Intertops continues to service existing U.S. based accounts, I personally would not feel safer on any other skin on the Revolution network...

Hi

These kind of issues is best to PM me about and it is also good to include your Intertops username so I know which account to look at.

Best regards,

The Intertops Poker Team

I myself feel the same way, and am also grandfathered in on Merge. Plus, according to the Lock forum, this could be a temporary measure - just too large an influx right now. Its still the same player pool.

Its also WHY there might not be so much of a clarification coming. This is a TEENSY different than an entire network blockage in fear of DOJ (but I sure wish legalization in US would hurry, there is SO much revenue to be had on Zynga (come on, you know you want that pond).

Hi

Sorry for not getting on here earlier but it has been a busy 24 hours ! Yes it is true that we have stopped taking new US registrations.

Why? To be very direct and short because we have players, affiliates, employees and a company to think of.

Best regards,

The Intertops Poker Team

We are causing more problems after the network change? Is there a chance of coming back later?

What does all this mean for current US players? Deposit and cashouts etc.

Then why are current US players still allowed to play? Does this mean we will soon be kicked off?

"Stopped taking new US registrations" does not mean it has any effect on players with existing accounts, a similar thing already happened on Merge as well for several months.

I was just told by live chat that rakeback players are NOT eligible for reload bonuses, despite posts on here stating the opposite. What gives?

Link to posts stating you get reloads with rakeback? I haven't been around this thread for a few months, but no reloads for rakeback was always Intertops' policy.

When Lock took over there was a reload bonus and it was available to rakeback players. It was also stated that reload bonuses would be available to RB players going forward.

Please understand that Intertops is first and foremost a Sportsbook/Casino. Their poker client is on the Revolution network so you are going to be getting about as good as US players get right now but remember the support will still be more on the Sportsbook side. Their live phone reps have minimal knowledge of poker rules especially since the Merge. The online chat is normally very good but again new rules since Lock. In my experience the rep here is the most knowledgeable especially since Lock taking over but info sometimes differs from locks rep I. E. I never heard back if Intertops will be able to play in the upcoming Ops series as the Rep on Lock said no but Intertops rep said yes.

As far as Rakeback players getting bonuses I was the one that posted that question. That rule was changed with the Merge and you do now get bonuses which I got.

It's a bummer Intertops "Locked" out new us players but hopefully existing players will be fine. It would be nice if the Rep here addressed that just for some player reassurance.

Latest cash out report: Clicked cash out 6/12 processed and taken out of my account on 6/15. Arrived via fed ex 6/18. Again $50 fee but quickest you can find via check.

Hi

No not causing more problems but as we know pressure has been on from the government for a long time and at some point one has to think about what we have and that we have a responsability towards our existing partners and players.
At the moment there is nothing on coming back.

Best regards,

The Intertops Poker Team

Hi

Rakeback players are allowed to use reload bonuses and support has been informed. Will run this past them again!

Hi

Yes we are foremost a Sportbook/Casino but our support has improved a lot over the last year when it comes to poker issues/questions. However, sometimes when rules change it takes a bit of time to pick for everyone and this I apologize for. We are still trying and will continue to improve support and service towards you guys.
I was told that Intertops would be part of the Ops and until I have heard something different that stands.

Nothing will change for existing players.

Best regards,

The Intertops Poker Team

Excellent, thank you for your prompt response. Much more than I can say for the disaster over at Lock poker...
