So i downloaded the lock poker software and see there are 3 tables of 6 max 200nl. 6 tables of 6 max 100nl. I do not have a lock account.

I log into my intertops account and see 3 tables of 6 max 200nl. Then i see 10 tables of 6 max 100nl.

Does that mean im middle tier?

It means that Lock mucked up the implementation of yet something else... no surprise here.

Unless something has recently changed, yes.

I never played a cash game ever on intertops. I only played sngs. How in the world are i on the middle tier then? I did put lot of volume on sngs.

You, like virtually every other 2+2'er, likely have a very poor understanding of how players are categorized. Admittedly, my understanding of it isn't much better since there are many discrepancies. However, I assure you, there are parties working to reverse engineer the formula used.

An initial logical guess would be it is similar to how Party used to work the beginners tables (no idea if still works the same way), but any account over 90 days old was no longer able to play on the beginners tables regardless of how much the account had played.

Logical, but not the case here. Lock regs that are clearly in the top teir, and have hundreds of thousands of hands under thier belts, are grinding away at the begginer tables at all stakes. On the other hand Intertops top teir players have zero tables available to them.

Just Lock trying to keep all the money in house and never have to reconcile any more. They dont pay anyone so it doesnt matter to them if their regs still play, and win.

Hi all,

I'm back in the office now and trying to process all issues incurred. As this thread is pretty well frequented by this time and I might have overlooked something urgent or very important, I would ask you to kindly drop me a pm here and allow me 1-2 days to respond.
Also I would like to thank all of you guys answering player's questions in this thread.

Best regards,
The Intertops Poker Team

I think this site is really starting to suck. The FPT is really killing traffic and games are just horrible. Players are leaving daily.

They say up to 48h. On weekdays, it's often 25% of that.

And players are also coming on board daily. Don't underestimate the fact that this is the best spot on Revolution... period. Also, FPT is a work in progress and there are parties working diligently to make things better for players.

Well that just seems short-sighted. Leaving an upstanding company who takes care of it's players because the network sucks? Meh. I don't know your exact situation, but that's not way to support the good guys. Also, don't hold your breath because swapping networks is not as easy as changing your socks.

Hello I am from the US and I have had an intertops account but only for play money, is there a way I can play for real money with a credit card and have rakeback?

Have you tried depositing? If you can log in, I'd think you would be able to play...

I respect you Kahn but this is completely ridiculous. Fair Play type software is arguably the biggest threat to online poker ever and you're saying it's short-sighted to make a moral stand against it? I 100% disagree and say it's short-sighted to continue to give any skin on the network a single penny of rake.

If we as players don't buck against this and cause it to flop horribly then it becomes industry standard that Fair Play (or an equivalent) is an acceptable business model. Once we start down that path, before we know it every site will have something similar (why wouldn't they?) and the players will merely be paying for the opportunity to swap pots with players of equal skill. If we don't stand up against this then in 5 years time there is no more online poker as a legitimate source of income.

What you fail to notice is that regs are being attacked at many online sites. And the trend isn't likely to stop. Ongame essence, Regulated market sites with rake that is nigh unbeatable for all but the best players, iPoker segregation, Party segregation, and now Revolution FPT.

Roll with it and make money where you can with the best operators you can find... It won't take long for the US govt/Wall Street to turn US online poker (once it's launched) into pure gambling with high taxes/lack of benefits.

Turning down +EV spots is silly for any professional gambler.

Ask your affiliate if you have rakeback. If you didn't use an affiliate, PM the Intertops rep with your account information and ask very nicely
