What options are there for table alignment software with GG? I've found some at ~$20 per month, seems a bit steep.

Minor complaint - some people have an AA avatar - this is not on the list of their own avatars so it must be approved by someone. It's very distracting and should not be allowed - in my opinion!

You can do custom avatars / pictures. Not sure GG needs to police that outside of making sure its nothing offensive. AA doesn't seem offensive.

Interesting they are rewarding Rakeback points through their own secret system:

"On average, players will be rewarded 100 Fish Buffet points for every $1 paid in rake and fees. This value may vary based on a variety of factors, such as but not limited to, game type or tournament played, player behavior at tables, and deposit history."

It means you need to be paisting level grinder to get something back. Imo this is wery shady to promote it "earn up to 100%" when the reality is more like stars chests. Atleast stars doesn't promote it with random percentages it's just personalized. And obv the twitch pros are promoting it like never before and they might get something back.

So is it a case of "more rake is better"? Sounds like Negreanu had something to do with these changes.

I was excited to hear that GGPoker changed their rake structure for Omaha from 3% uncapped to 5% capped to 1.5BB.

After playing about 8000 hands at 2/5 Omaha, my Pokergraph chart shows I lost around -$2,000. However, My account balance was -$5,000 from where I started. Are you telling me.. I paid -$3,000 in F****ing rake!? (Also pretty strange not to include rake in my results chart)

This is after redeeming all my fish buffet rewards, and even winning Quads high-hand once. So that is about 7.5BB/100 in rake.

I don't have a poker affiliate to give additional rakeback - how much rakeback would I expect to receive if I did link my account with one? 7.5bb/100 seems absurd - probably larger than my actual winrate.

2) Whoe is crushing the 2/5 Omaha long-term on GGPoker?

Cap is not 1.5 because you pay the highhand promo for bb (or someting like that) when the pot is over 30bbs.

Yeah it seems perfectly sensible really but sucks for those hit hardest. I always thought it was a bit odd that the top level was so low ($1k per month rake - compare that with Supernova Elite which was $200k per year).

Well i doubt they just keep us at the same rank considering each level in now about up to 7.5x more rake and on a 2 months horizon.

Ps: vpi system for fishbuffet sucks. My vpi stands at 0.5. This fact pushed a lot of reg to play on new accounts but now that GG is getting stricter, it helps preventing multi-accounting.

The points per level have changed but the rakeback still seems fairly consistent the accumulation of points.

So if you were a Bronze Octopus, you might just now be a Bronze or Silver Crab?

I would hope that they would put you into a category based on your total points accumulated and how that matches up with the new levels.

This is better in some way because in the old system if you can't push through all the way to the shark level you eventually can't rake enough to reach the target and get 10% rb and a demotion every other period.

btw they just add the section on "What happens to my current Rank and Points?" rank transition from old to new system.

Oh wow, the percentages have all changed on that page - when I looked before it maxed out at 50%, now it maxes out at 60%. Much happier now, and I guess this makes up for the loss of rakeback via affiliates.

Still a shady sistme, because points acumulation always depend on your PVI.
