Amazing that Chico can't identify bots. I'm convinced that they know, but just don't mind.

Here's a hint: You know those guys that have played 300 consecutive days, but now aren't b/c there was an update? Yah, they're bots.

Traffic seems to be a little down on the NLHE side at the moment, but I still see some familiar faces. I actually saw some on immediately after the update. Perhaps it only affected the PLO ones.

I honestly believe they aren't even trying right now. I have limited data and time to observe these accounts. They can literally track all of the data produced by these accounts if they wanted to. If I can tell they're bots with my limited resources then they should easily be able to identify them and get rid of them. I literally do the job for them by sending them lists of accounts I know are using automated assistance. How hard is it to confirm this after I've told them exactly who to look at? Whatever they're doing, if they're doing anything, to confirm these accounts are botting is completely ineffective. It's baffling.

In PLO there's normally at least 1 bot playing around the clock except the super dead hours and during the afternoon there are sometimes 3 at a table. There were none this afternoon, but then I noticed a couple hours later they were back. So they must have gotten their software updated pretty quickly or whatever.

anyone know why sports betting poker takes a few days to "review" your account for new players? i've never seen this before.

Obviously it's a security protocol. I've seen a few other new players mention this and I've only heard about it recently. It does seem pretty unique to them. Most sites let you deposit and play immediately. I've personally advocated for sites to do this in the past to prevent fraudsters and repeat offenders from entering the games again and again on new accounts. I especially like it since we never hear of refunds for being cheated. I've certainly never got a refund from this network.

What deposit method did you use or did you not even get that far? If you used a card then they may want to make sure the funds clear first.

There can be issues from time to time with card deposits at any online gambling site. I would recommend using bitcoin or another crypto coin for gambling transactions in the future.

You know you have to transfer the funds over to the poker client manually, right? Deposited funds always go to the sportsbook first. Just make sure that they give you the thumbs-up before playing.

Am I also correct that BetOnline and SportsBetting have a similar relationship as Bovada and Ignition? (i.e. same company just different skins?)

You can open up accounts on the different sites. If you decide to open up another account you should contact customer support at both sites to let them know. They may disable your first account, but I'm not entirely sure. Obviously playing poker on both sites at the same time would be against the rules. Get written confirmation from them so that you have proof to show if they ever question you about your accounts.

If you haven't had any issues at BetOnline then I think you should be fine at SportsBetting as well.

There are 3 sites on the network. Those are BetOnline, SportsBetting and TigerGaming. Each site has its own poker skin. The players from each skin all play together similar to how Bovada, Ignition and Bodog players are all pooled together.

BBJ was won again by the same person? Twice in 2 months?

It was a 10/20 table. If somebody has the hand history or the replayer then please post it here. Odds on that happening again have to be ridiculous.

Reminds me of the scene from the movie Casino.

I am not sure what’s more corrupt. BOTonline or CheatingPokerNetwork

Seriously. How any of you people still play here, blows my mind

Maybe this will be the year NY passes poker? ONE TIME!!!

I have no proof of foul play with the BBJ, but obviously something so unlikely happening makes me suspicious.

With regards to playing here vs playing elsewhere, where would you suggest?
WPN which is even worse when it comes to game integrity?
Bovada/Ignition which has god awful software and anonymous games that hide any cheating?
Global Poker which doesn't allow you to track anything?
PPPoker where I have to find a connect and rely on an agent, who I don't know, to pay me?

Obviously Chico's inconsistent and lack of action against the bots is my biggest complaint here. I also have a few issues with how they've handled the Bad Beat Jackpot payout shares. I don't have many other complaints besides those things though.

I hope they look into if anything nefarious did happen with the player that won it twice now. I can't imagine they'd be so stupid as to have a house account win it twice in such a short time span.

Options are limited for us players in the US. I occasionally play at other networks, but I always come back here because it has good traffic, good games at my stakes and great software.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Who won it? santihoez or something?

When I opened the client yesterday it said santinhoz had won at a 10/20 table. I was not on at the time it happened and I haven't seen the hand yet.

Yes. And it’s good for the game.

Shows they are real, emotions are real. It’s not crossing the line imo if you can mute them.

Telling someone they should go kill themselves is over the line to me. A little banter and **** talkin sure, but wishing they would kill themselves is to angry and immature. But yes its good to know they are real and spewy. Also you can just mute them!

Losing money (espeically too much money) makes people go crazy. If people will berate dealers and player in person, then via the internet it's just gonna be the ugliest. I'd just ignore it, mute it, or laugh at it.

Go kill yourself? That is nothing in the online poker world.

People have wished me to die in a fire, my family to be raped, AIDS to my grandmother, etc. Hell, that is just the mild stuff.

Degens can't handle losing and get emotional. My advice?

**** em.

The sad thing is how quickly some players default to racist rants. I've heard the n-word so much more in the past 2 years than the first 10 years of my poker career combined. Hmm wonder why that is? At least it makes it feel that much sweeter to take their money and 99% of them are terrible players.
