Must be a tournament

I have literally played millions of cash game hands on here over the last decade and have never once received a refund from suspected collusion or cheating

or you randomly get disconnected from the software?
regarding the software randomly closing, i have had it close on me before. It was during a long session of playing all evening/night. It has happened twice to me and i've had to restart my computer to log back in. However, this as mentioned has only happened to me twice so a rare occurrence. Did piss me off because was on the bubble of a sng and when i finally was able to log back in, i had busto'd out on the bubble.

i used to have a major problem with disconnects. would disconnect at least once a session (1 - 2 hour long sessions). This lasted for quite a while. this issue miraculously went away and i have not had disconnect issues again. (knock on wood). To this day i dont know if it was on my end or bovadas end.

Yeah I do this. Works on an 8", but the screen is kinda small. I would recommend a 10".

Does not need to be connected to keyboard/mouse to work.

You should have have any problems with battery life with the latest generation of Win 8 tablets. They are very power efficient. Mine doesn't run out of power in one day.

Anyone? Why would they reply like this if European players are not allowed?

Why don't you call and ask them? Nobody in this thread is going to be able to tell you why they told you that. I think very few to none are European here so we're likely not going to be able to answer you questions.

I'm not sure where you're going with this and why you feel the need to keep re-asking your questions when you haven't got an answer you like within 12 hours.

Bodog stopped taking European players almost 2 1/2 years ago, and an answer you got from CS that seems somehow inconsistent with this doesn't change that fact. If they're willing to take you as a customer now, then they're making a change that none of us are aware of nor will be able to provide you any answers about.

According to a February 2015 update on this website, "Bovada no longer wishes to offer poker to new American & Canadian players."

Why am I not seeing news about this anywhere else?

For canadians, I read somewhere you can't have a USD$ account on bodog is this true?

All play is in USD, so every time you leave a table bodogs gonna convert USD to CDN and vice versa? Seems like a pain in the ass. Is this done at xe.com market value if this is the case?

I called this back in the fall when Bovada started restricting new registrations from certain states. Every other site that did that eventually pulled out of the US market completely. Bovada's clearly on it's way.

At least we have WPN and Chico to more than fill it's shoes.

Based on these 2 comments, I'd assume that Bovada is still offering poker to new players in these areas, however, they likely cut affiliates out, in turn causing the affiliate to post that to push people to sign up through them on other sites.

Well if you're new to Bovada, never made a deposit, why don't you just try to deposit $20 and see what happens. Then you can come back here and tell us if they took you as a new player. If maxing out your initial deposit is a concern then just attempt to deposit what you were going to anyway and let us know if it goes through. Worst case scenario is you can't make a deposit and you and this whole forum learn about it. GL

In response to your first question, NO it is not common. I play for hours on the site and have no real disconnect issues at all.

A reliable source has told me that Bovada pulled all of their poker advertising out of the US, but not the casino/sportsbook, which is odd as the former would have fewer legal issues than the latter.

I've also heard unsubstantiated rumors that Bovada stopped accepting new clients via affiliates earlier this year. How this might affect the current business relationships between Bovada and affiliates vis-a-vis current players is unclear.

The advertising realignment could just be a function of assessing which is making them the most money.

Sure, but then why would some affiliates go out of their way to direct new players to other, competing US facing sites? Only because they suspect a drop in numbers is coming? Income is income.
