My first deposit was $500 and I got charged $505.07 on that transaction and then a separate charge of $5.11 showed up on top of that. Then for my second deposit, I put $400 on and was charged $404.93 on one transaction and then another charge says $12.67 international fee. So aside from the 4.9% fee on bovada, I was charged additional fees by the bank. For a total of $900 worth of deposits, I had to pay $27 extra in bank fees. Is this normal? Would bovada reimburse me for any of that?
It's all standard. There are bank accounts and credit cards that offer no international transaction fees out there. I have the same bank and I pretty much just accept it for being the price to pay for playing online in 2015.

the bitcoin discussion got me wondering whether or not there's any hope in lobbying for them to start including deal making at final tables. though my main worry is the upcoming BDPO4 championship events, which are occurring far before they'd even implement such a thing (which they probably wouldn't in the first place)...

I don't know why it pisses me off so much, its not like I work for Bovada, but I don't want people in my games trying to get people to play at a different site.

Edit: Now after every pot (he still hasn't play a hand) he says "you could of saved money if you were on full flush". Just reported a person for the first time since Black Friday. They better ban these pieces of ****.
Anyone else bust out laughing at this guys rage toward the advertiser? I mean, I get it, and I even agree. But the intensity of his rage is hilarious.

I downloaded Table Tamer yesterday. I received several virus notifications and uninstalled the software. I logged in to play today and I see that the "Fold, Call, and Raise" buttons now have a blueish hue. Also so bet amount is now highlighted in red. Is this due to an update or have I picked up some type of Trojan? Any input would be appreciated.

Table tamer does that to your buttons. I had to reinstall bovada.

Look into "StackAndTile". Great software with a 15 day trial.

Delete "gamebtn" and "bet_bg" images from the bovada file on your computer, the when you restart the client it will replace them the way they were before. Or you can uninstall and reinstall the client.

Only need one more player to fill up the nightly 30 K PTS qualifier. Check the SNG tab

I was still playing when I posted that. And yes, 8 hours of poker + 2 cups of coffee + a red bull + not eating + spammer in chat = rage, well for me anyway.

Man, players slow playing in the stud 8 games is literally ruining the site for me. It is almost every night one or two players time down to the last second on every action. The software takes a lot of time anyways, but the players slow playing make it horrific.

Agree. I play Zone, but occasionally I'll play a tournament, and it's ridiculous how people get 30 seconds to act preflop. Full Tilt had it best: 15 seconds to make any decision in the hand, and use your time bank if you need more time.

I hate playing MTTs on Bovada now due to slow play. It's rediculous how long people take especially during the first hour or two. Like, it's to the point where the blinds go up twice an orbit even in a SS b/c each hand literally takes 5 mins

Anyone else unable to view the last hand or hand replayer?

It just started doing it tonight and keeps telling me "connection to the server cannot be established," even though I'm playing on bovada at that exact moment and listening to spotify etc all at the same time?

My HUD works fine too fwiw.

if you keep bovada open and your computer goes to sleep, bovada will reconnect when you return but will show that message when you click last hand. easy fix is to just close bovada when you are done or turn off sleep.

worse yet is on the bubble of an MTT (or at least the 5k freeroll). Every table will have 3+ people timing down hoping to make it itm. The stuff is game-breaking.

In a cash game, one player has the ability to totally ruin the game. That is not something that can be allowed to happen. Our stud 8 game broke last night just because of one guy being a prick. I report them but I dunno if there is every anything done about it. I get the same reply saying that it is collusion and they will look into it.

I was told by Bovada customer service this morning only last 7 days of hand histories are available and then only day by day which seems like it could become a real chore. I started playing on the site 2 months ago and am 100% sure a few weeks ago when I checked under the "Account" options tab it was possible for me to look them up for several weeks back and then also download them in bulk rather than day by day. I did check that b/c I knew this would be important to me once I accumulated some games and wanted to identify leaks using Poker tracker or HoldEm Manager. Is anyone aware of this or can make recommendations how to go about this with Bovada. I think I would switch if this cannot be resolved...so any suggestions for other sites would be great too. I play low stakes NLHE tournaments only ($1-$10) and am looking to increase stake levels but would like to do some review before I start investing more...
