Bovada has decent software but theirs alot of problems as you all know. I think they need to aheed to our recommendations ASAP as more people will play and it will improve the experience tremendously.

1. Better/Bigger tournaments
*the 10k Nightly shouldnt be the biggest tournament every night.. Its insane and theirs enough people playing on bovada now to make bigger guarantees. Now if you cant that atleast make the 10k a REBUY.
*Bigger Omaha, Omaha hi low tournaments. Atleast more 20+ dollar sheduled tournaments; &1 $50+ dollar omaha/omaha hi low tourny. REBUYs also . Also the the 20 dollar Sit N Goes should have turbo options and atleast 1 100 dollar Sit N Go option.

2.5 min wait to Rejoin
jus ridicolous. most of the time i get disconnected from bovadas shaky connection and be in the middle of a hand and when i finally get reconnected within time frame i cant even join the table where i was just in a hand. Also you should be able to leave and rejoin with the same amount you left with..

3.Point tables,daily point freerolls for cash
You earn the points and only can trade them in for tickets which 50% are impossible to get in the first place and the rest arent for tournies which have any interest to anyone. Their should be atleast 1 daily freeroll for like 500 point buyin inwhich first place is guaranteed couple hundred dollars. You guys make that in 1 minute from just hosting tournaments on the site no biggie..
Also their should be point tables just like cash table but instead with points where you bet your points and put them at risk just like cash..

4.Censors
they need to be fixed.. i cant even type Sit n go in the tournament chat without half of the word being censored.. hilarious..

This is my opinion and im sure it is of the hundreds of other players who play on the site..

Finally deposited on Bovada. Was so strange to actually easily deposit with my CU account. Software is so much sadder than Stars but at least it's microstakes grinding!

What is the hyper turbo traffic like at the $5 to $30 range? I see them registering but obviously I can't figure out the overall traffic. Looking for a 2nd site to grind hypers.

does anyone know if that hand replayer linked to on the previous page allows me to keep track of cash game sessions?

it looked like he had made it such that the software tracked tournament summaries (thus i could keep track of total# of tournies and net wins/losses) but wasn't clear if it would work for cash as well. i know we will never see anything fancy ala pokertracker but would be very helpful if i could just keep track of # of hands played for cash games and total amount won or lost

All of these complaints I see on 2+2 are being blown way out of proportion. Bodog & Bovada have always been accurate with a time-frame from my personal experience. As well as having superior customer service compared to the few other sites I have dealt with. I am a US player and customer service was easy to understand and helped me fund money in my account within minutes. A+ to Bovada for owning up to what I would expect from any site calling themselves legitimate in that business.

just downloaded now that's its available for MAC. sorry if it has been covered already, i searched and came up with one answer, so wondering if anyone recently has had success with depositing money using a VISA gift card. my bank uses master card and i have an American express card no visas. thanks in advanced.

What shaky connection? I have played over half a million hands on Bodog and I can only recall a tiny number of occasions where I have been disco'd randomly.

The database that comes with the application has fields specific to tournaments, but you can put anything in those fields you like. You can edit them and only use the fields you want, etc.

As soon as I get some time I am going to make the replayer and the database work for cash games as well - just taking a break and player some poker instead of coding at night. If you have any questions specific to the app, just PM me and I will be happy to answer.

Received a check from Bovada 3 weeks ago. Tried depositing it into my bank and they said it could take up to 8 weeks to clear, money still hasn't cleared..

question--- my roommate got his bovada account banned... and we share the same network. will that be an issue for me if i make my own account and play there? or does the network not matter, only the computer?

I strongly advise against this as it can clearly be construed as circumventing the ban, but who knows if they even check for that stuff.

Obv pokesites do not allow this as they take any bans or exclusions seriously. Just saying imo I would be surprised if they had anything more than a shell for a security department being there is no more need for being accountable to players.

You should email them and offer to send in your docs right away and see if they might bite. Don't be too shocked if they say no tho.

But at any legitimate site, your situation would not be allowed under normal circumstances (roommate excluded himself or cheated).

Without knowing the full deals on why he was banned I doubt anyone can answer this.

OK, I just downloaded the Bovada client and created an account. I looked for RB, but couldn't find it anywhere. A few posters mentioned Bovada doesn't offer RB, does anyone know why? Anyway, I have stated before that I dislike the anonymous tables. However, the improving cash out speed is what prompted me to create an account. It appears as if there is a decent amount of traffic, but why on earth do they hide full tables? Anyway, the site looks decent, and as an American I am glad to have one more option to choose from. My first deposit will be via WU, so let's just hope they will offer me the WU withdrawal method!
