I have only crashed a handful of times over the years Bodog/Bovada, but the last update makes it a daily thing for me now.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and wait it out a bit longer... it's not like I have any other options. The ironic thing may be that they end up losing a ton of recreational players over this. Pro grinders will be a lot more patient with this type of thing I think, since their livelihood more often depends on sticking it out.

The only thing that scares me is when they say:

"your funds are safe"

...because I didn't ask.

Doesn't help any....but I was on the site about noon (E.T.) today, worked fine. Now,I've got the same problem all y'all do.
As for another Black Friday, no for a couple of reasons.
#!: it ain't Friday...duh.
#2: I was privileged to be a victim on BF...and this isn't how it looked after the shutdown.
#3:Bovada ain't big enough for the Feds to mess with.

Patience folks.

It's amazing how people twist obvious server issues into another Black Friday.

I am having the same problem with network issues. I thought it was my internet connection at first so I went and checked that out and saw something weird. In my wifi network list of choices to connect to I had a network name called us doj local field network show up on there for approx 30 mins now!

It's not allowing people to take seats or register for tourneys but if you are already logged in and at a seat it seems like you're ok.

edit: There's nothing very strange about this, I'm an IT professional. Existing connections are stable but new connections are being refused due to some server issue they are having is my guess.

I can't, it doesn't seem anyone else can either, which fits my theory.

Log in servers and playing servers are very likely to be different. So if you were already logged in before the log in servers failed and you didn't log out, you could still play while we are sitting watching on the sidelines. I'm not 100% sure but I know a little bit about online games that work this way.

while this could be true and explain the poker client log in issues, it still does not explain the actual website log in issues and telling me im using the wrong log in information

That is strange, I haven't tried the website.

edit: I got the same result. I would guess, again as an IT professional, that the error message we are getting on the website is the default result of a failed login attempt on the website end, regardless of whether you entered incorrect credentials or the site simply can't connect to the login server.

I can't be 100% sure of that but that would be my best guess. It does look a little more worrisome, though.

Yeah, because server or connectivity issues just aren't sexy enough to wrap some tinfoil around...

Your "data" about what blind levels you hit doesn't really matter here. When Bodog released their latest update, it screwed up all sorts of stuff. People had all sorts of disconnect issues, the clients were unstable, etc.

So there's one real easy way to get to the bottom of this. Go through an old hand history from before the update on memorial day. The levels should be clear and the times should be clear. Post those if you want to prove your case.
FWIW, I remember that they were 6 minute levels really distinctly. I don't play a ton of them, but when he first mentioned the change I checked and it was changed. No idea why the network says they didn't change it, because they clearly did (and anyone who used to play them would know that.)

IDK about his claims that other sites had 6-7 minute levels, but I do know that Bovada used to have 6 minutes and is now down to 5.

But I totally agree the other issues are more important anyway.

well i just got off the phone with cs and its definitely not a bf type of situation so any of you who were worried about that can put your minds at ease. its a technical issue and its going to last as long as it takes the tech team to fix not the legal team.
