Table pops to front and downloadable hand histories.

My cashout was approved 3/08. Received it in central Texas on 4/04. Waiting time currently about 19 business days.

I would like to get my money quicker. Having to wait and wonder if I am ever going to receive it is one of the reasons I don't play for higher stakes on Bovada.

Yea mine was over 15 business days as well. That's the environment we're in. Welcome to the jungle.

I am not a happy camper. Note my email exchange below. It is low stakes, but there is a principle involved. Please read from the bottom up. Has anyone else had this problem? I suspect my response will get ignored (I also called them and got nowhere)

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Folks, I would ask that you reconsider this issue. If I had a connection issue at my end, I would not be writing this email.

I had no problems playing before and after the ADD-ON. I had no problems with rebuying four times, so your rebuy/add- on server worked fine.

But it did not work when I did an ADD-ON. As I said, Player #77 mentioned this in the chat log during the rebuy period. So did I. I said "DITTO."

You can check the chat logs and you will see this comment during the add-on period (I might add that I attempted to add-on at the beginning of the add-on period).

This is not right. This is different than a computer freeze at my end, which has happened on very rare occassions.

Can you OR A SUPERVISOR please reconsider.

I have been a regular player and I would hope you could resolve this in an ethical manner. This is not right.

Thank you for your consideration.

Please respond again.

Me

A review of your account shows that you inability to add-on was due to the numerous connection lags that you have been experiencing during your game play. It appears that your bandwidth was not sufficient to operate the table and bring up the add-on option when it was to be available.

We recommend cleaning out your computer on a regular basis. This can include clearing your Internet cache, de-fragmenting your computer, or even having it professionally cleaned out. As well, simply turning it off at least every few days will help to free up memory on your computer. If you are low in memory, your computer may not process the software in real time, which is essential for online poker as you only have 28 seconds to respond when playing your cards. Running other programs while you play poker will have the same effect because your processor is trying to keep up with all applications.

At this time we will not be able to honor your request for reimbursement.

This happens to me, too, and there's zero chance it's a problem on my end. Click, nothing happens, goes grey.

Is anybody here using Bovada and living in Missouri? I'm trying to find out if Bovada is still an option for me to make a first deposit.

There seem to be a lot of posts about cashout method being linked to deposit method. Which deposit method do you suggest for easiest / most reliable cashout?

I'm in Missouri, I deposited w/ my credit card a couple months ago. I got a call from the credit card company b/c they thought it was a fraudulent charge (charge came from China or something) but I told the CC company it was ok, and have had no problems since.

I recently cashed out and received a check via fedex within like 2.5 weeks. deposited it 3 days ago and so far so good.

I shouldn't have to deposit 3 times with a Moneygram to receive that option.

Their reps reasoning was that "we are not sure if you can receive them till you deposit using it"???????? I'm sure I can go pick up a moneygram. Why don't you reps address this? Why are you giving us such a ridiculous run around? It's complete nonsense.
agree totally. this seems like the 100% safest way for the companies to get $$ to the players. govt can't seize that **** as easily

I'm playing the 500$ bovada main event satelite today. I am wondering as a US player if you win, can you opt to take the cash. It says in the info that you must play the event. But since the pass of the UIEGA law in 2006 in the past you are just credited with the cash.

Thank you for your replies.

Any thoughts about PT vs. HEM? I seem to be reading that you can only collect info on yourself (anonymous villains), but that's enough for me to find my own leaks and play micro-stakes where level 1 play dominates. Do they both work equally well on Bovada?

You show up in Vegas and they physically buy you in or you forfeit the prize, including the $2k they give you for travel in the week after you win your seat.

PT and HEM currently do not support Bodog/Bovada. A lesser known software called Holdem Indicator is afaik the only sw that works. Kinda pricey for single-site, session only sw imo.

I was a winning reg at 100NL, and sometimes played higher. I made a decent living on Bodog/Bovada for almost a year (about $40K).

Then, after one of the updates, I started losing. My bankroll was around $3.5K, now it is $300. I have moved down whenever I got below 20 buy-ins. I couldn't win at 50NL, or 25NL, and the best I can do at 10NL is break-even. And all of this poker was played with an ultra-conservative, nitty style.

I've played over 3 million hands of NLHE (most of it on Pokerstars, until Black Friday). I know what variance looks like. This is not variance.

Now I don't expect people to take this purely anecdotal evidence seriously. But I do think that I can't be the only one Bovada has targeted, especially since I don't play above the microstakes any more.

The only explanation is that they have targeted certain pros, making it impossible for them to make money. This is merely the latest in their long-running campaign against withdrawing players.
