Well that $10 went fast. The donk calls against my two pair to hit a draw and then move in on the turn to hit the river.

I've been getting it at least once per night. The other day, one (just one) of my three tables went dark and it said I was disconnected and had to reconnect. This is while I was still playing on the other two tables. I had to shut it down and restart the client before I got that one table back. It was a tourney, so I had to.

Also, no $10 bonus for me. WTF?

Just want to reiterate how absurd it is that if you get disconnected for 30 seconds it removes you from your seat and you can't sit back down for 5 mins. Seriously how do they go from not having this issue, to software that allows it to happen (and don't patch it immediately for that matter) Are they at least aware of the issue? I know Ice has recently posted some stuff regarding bug fixes but it seems that this specific issue was misaddressed. We all don't want ratholing, but we also do not want to be kicked from our seats for being disconnected for 10 seconds.

In one of my last few posts in the support thread I think I was able to address this issue by passing along djk's suggestion. He suggested that if a player is disconnected, then they are sat out for x amount of hands/minutes before being kicked from the table. Bodog said they'd look into it for full ring and 6max.

If that's not quite right, please let me know in the official thread.

Damn!! I can't believe any 2+2'ers are still playing at this POS site. What's traffic like 37 players a day?

Sry meant to post this in the official thread but thanks for the response. From your initial post it seemed as though you were simply stating they would not consider changing the '5 min rule' so I must have missed this explanation. And yes, as long as the player at least remains at their seat while disconnected, i don't have a problem sitting out an orbit. As it is now, you are basically ensured to lose your seat if you get disconnected at all (even for like 5 seconds).

Quick question, i use to have a bodog account long time ago but haven't logged in for a few years. Do i need to register a new account with Bovada or is my old bodog account still active and was just transferred over when the switched.

Can anyone tell me what Bovada/Bodog did for main event satellite winners last year? It says in terms and conditions that you have to play the ME if you win a seat but how do they give you the cash to buyin etc.?

What im getting at is.... do you have to play main if you win a seat?

When the client disconnects, how does one reconnect? Is the only method to reload the client software? Thus giving up your seat 100%?

Started playing again thanks to the free $10.

One gripe I have about the newer software is that it doesn't place you in the same spot on the table, like the old software.

How do I track my wins/losses for purposes of taxation? Can someone PM me how to do this with the downloaded hand histories?

Unless you buy 3rd party soft, best bet is manually entering profit/loss into spreadsheet after every session.

I believe for now Holdem Indicator is only software that works for tracking.

For various reasons I can not enter profit/loss after every session with any degree of ease or fluidity. Holdem Indicator simply is a HUD right? It doesn't act as a database for Bovada because the players are anonymous? If I am incorrect in my interpretations please let me know. I really do need to have as accurate a record as possible (automated) of my sessions for taxation.

Thanks

LOL automated. Just write down beginning bankroll, ending bankroll, subtract the two, enter into records.

Unfortunately that does not satisfy reporting requirements for me as a professional.

Anybody else having problems with the notes feature? I pick a player, and it still doesn't work. I've restarted my computer once, and that seemed to fix it. I wonder if its due to windows 7 on-screen keyboard. I noticed that having that up when I get this problem. I think that's the only consistent thing that has been way out of the ordinary. Time to hit restart I guess..
