Bovada made a declaration that they have a new rakeback system for players with rakeback.

That new system was that losing recs, you know, the ones generally without RB accounts, will receive more RB, while winning players would receive less. All % agreements are now void and we arent telling anyone the new formula other than the vague concept we just laid out.

Im not sure about others, but I never get the % of my original deal. My RB provider gets deflated rake generated numbers from Bovada. Sometimes they are less then they should be, other times its not even in the ballbark. Its to a point that I dont count of it as part of my poker income like I would on other sites. I just take whatever I do get after a few months and dump it on another site or whatever.

Its better than nothing, but its not a true legitimate RB deal.

well, so far, im a pretty big loser. so should i be expecting a large bonus or something soon?

the biggest problem w/ these bots is i can never be sure when im up against one ... its not like i can know their name then go to the table and figure out how to exploit them. takes at least 20 hands most times to even get an idea that it is one of them. i wonder if they are owning me. i see them up a lot quite often.

Its possible. Or perhaps you are already tagged as a net winner. Its hard to say how it works other than we know recs and dormant accounts get bonus offers sometimes and winning regs dont.

Some people are getting side door rakeback still. It's generally not paid to there Bovada account.

It really comes down to who your affiliate was, most affiliates just ran off with it. It's a moot point anyways, because if you don't have it now, you won't be getting it.

Ditto, although at some point early on (first year maybe?) it was put into my (then) Bodog account. Now I'm getting physical checks every month from my affiliate.

It can be a hassle on most RB sites to actually get cash in pocket when receiving RB that isnt deposited into the site you earned it on.

Yeah, I'm really happy with it, even though my volume over the years has dropped by 90%+. The affiliate has changed names/owners 3-4 times since 2005 and in one case I think even sold off from one to another. They've done online transfers from FTP to a Carbon site to Juicy Stakes and now since all of the p2p transfers seem to be gone for US players, they do a check. I keep expecting an email saying they have to stop all payments but they keep coming through.

I can read, I'm just trying to find out if your words here are 100% the case. In any case, on any skin or any network, it's upsetting to learn only X% of a player pool is getting rb, winning player or not.
