There are people playing them a lot at the low limits for sure...I don't think you'd have trouble finding action at most stakes. I see people waiting at the $105 games here and there when I look.

The rake is 5% across the board on them whether it is turbo or not and it doesn't get better as you move up.

I think I saw the $1 heads ups were 10% rake. I believe that all the rest of the HUSNGs are 5% rake.

I created my Bovada account quite a while ago but didn't deposit and start playing until just recently. Anyways, I tried logging into my account at work today and I couldn't remember the password (I use a completely unique password for every website). I went to reset the password, everything worked fine, but when I went to login after resetting my password my account was suddenly disabled. I know for a fact that resetting my password triggered it because I was playing just fine before I left for work!

I have contacted support through their form (I cannot call because as I mentioned I am at work), but this is really unacceptable. Does anyone else have experience with something like this happening?

You might have more than one account on Bovada and thats why it was disabled.

I have never created a second account on Bovada and have never engaged in any of the even remotely-sketchy things that are often associated with account disablings (as far as I have seen from my quick google searches). It appears this is the direct result of resetting my password (or possibly the multiple wrong attempts at guessing it prior to resetting it).

Thank you - is that thread in this section? I can't seem to find it.

Thanks, I really appreciate your comment. I have hope to be playing again tonight then! Did you need to call their support?

EDIT: I received an email from support and I'm now back in action! Problem resolved.

I didn't really specify. I just meant in general. Thank you guys for the responses. I'm looking forward to getting funds on the site and trying out my "skills" in some deeper tournaments.

False. There was a very nice reload on Black Friday (the shopping one, not the poker one) 2013.

Not to mention the DOJ had nothing to do with it.

I'm likely just too paranoid but after seeing this post and another in the "Bodog" thread http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...postcount=3586 , I think I'll withdraw Monday to see how this all shakes out. Probably leave about $25-50 on there to grind out the weekly promo bonus at the micros but that's it.

I hope this all turns out well but better safe than sorry after Black Friday.

Sigh. This thread really does go around in circles. If you really are paranoid and worried, you should have done this 3 months ago when this was an actual news item.

Well I wasn't playing on Bovada 3 months ago, I had taken an extended break since around June/July 2013. These little tidbits of news, along with the odd, imo, varying promo offers, are concerning, for me. A friend recently got an offer for a $22 tourney ticket and a $500 bonus, released $10 for every 50 poker points after being away from Bovada about 6-7 months, in addition to the 400 points $50 weekly I received. There seems to be a push towards generating revenue and giving larger sums of bonus money, something I have not known Bovada to do alot of.

That said, to each their own and again I hope it turns out for the best but I'm going with my gut.

Well at least you did your research and know that the DOJ had nothing to do with the "raid" and that it was all a politically motivated thing in Manilla, targeting a single Bodog88 office. As long as you spent 30 seconds to find out the truth behind it then yeah, might as well go with your gut. Good luck with things.

Has there been any word or statement on why the withdrew from Australia or if that's even true?
