Big Newb Question:
My first time back playing since BF. I heard Bovada was reliable on cashouts. I see that WU and Checks are the most common forms of cashouts...how much trouble am I going to have when I decide to cashout and cash my check at my bank? I see some people have to do sneaky stuff like use ATM deposits, and phone deposits....what are the chances I can get my check, walk into the bank, deposit or cash, without a hiccup?
Thanks guys, good to be back!

Never cash them, always deposit into your bank. You will have no problem walking in to deposit it, but they suggest doing the ATM.

Thanks Rake Me.

Any idea what the rationale is for using ATM vs. standard?

My guess is Bovada doesn't want to risk having people go inside the bank and telling the bank teller that it's from online poker.

Hmm, that makes sense. For those that have gotten a phone call back, did you simply just say it is an international check from business?

Where did you see this happen? If your bank is asking you about where your checks are coming from I would switch banks. It's none of their business.

Anyone else's client keep freezing when playing Zone? I have it happen every 20-30 hands or so. Cost me like $10 already.

If you haven't already I would subscribe to the Bodog (Bovada) payout thread for U.S. players. Just do a search in the search box for the thread.

Zone poker is great, despite the occasional bug. I actually think the anonymous version of speed poker is better.

yea PLO $0.05/$0.10 runs during peak hours of the day. It dies down during some hours though.

The most consistent Zone poker game has been NL $0.05/$0.10

i thought the excuse for international checks was to tell them you do some online graphic designing for people in other countries.

Winrate is going to be drastically different at zone though

Still crashing for you guys? Crashed once so far tonight, twice last night. Event Viewer says the fault is in common.dll, but that's as far as I can dig.

I may try with no zone tables and see if I don't crash. Kinda like proving a negative though.

Any ideas why the zone 10nl FR games aren't running today? They had like 90 people playing the other day, today there is 0.

Seems like fish won't stick around until at least 9 players get in during non-peak hours.

I sat yesterday afternoon waiting and got about 4 or 5 players then someone would leave, and then maybe another comes, then another leaves which it won't deal until 9 have sat. Once a table fills more will join at a much faster pace so key is to just get that first table of nine to fill up.
