I just joined Ignition this weekend...branching out from ACR after the horrible past week of delays. So far, I am not having any problems, except a few times today, after a hand, the table just kind of freezes...nothing happens.

I close the table, go to the lobby, click Take my Seat, and then I'm back, though action has gone on while I've been disconnected. Haven't had any internet problems, and typically didn't have that happen at ACR, despite its myriad of other problems.

Is this something I can prevent with a setting or something? I notice it happened a couple of times as I was doing stuff in my internet browser...nothing major like streaming, just reading news pages.

hey....first of all, are you using any 3rd party poker software like a HUD, etc?
if so, try closing them down and then hitting CTRL ALT DEL and also closing down any non-essential programs that may be running in the background. The software is quite a CPU/memory hog and many people have found they need to close other programs in order for things to run smoothly.

after that, go to your settings inside the Ignition client and make sure you turn off both the animation settings....also once you get up and running, try switching the open tab in the client to the Casino while you're playing.

For some reason the tourney/SNG lobby refreshing itself can cause this intermittent lag like you are describing....using as many filters as you can to reduce the number of games displayed in said lobby will help as well.

How long are you waiting while it's frozen? I play on Bovada and it regularly freezes for a little bit after a large pot is won. Typically unfreezes and play resumes after about 15 seconds or so without having missed any action. Is it freezing for much longer than this when it happens to you?

Does anyone keep getting JavaScript errors when trying to download hand histories on Ignition? I've been searching for info in the forums but unfortunately unable to find a solution. Thanks.

Yeah zone ignition freezes for me too sometimes, anyone know if there is a way you can auto-top up when you lose chips below 100bb?

Thanks for the advice. That's all very helpful. I do have a HUD, but didn't have it going when playing, but I did have some other (non-poker) programs running. Will go look at all of these things and see how that works.

The few times it's frozen on me, it's been 15-30 seconds, but by then, I close the table, go to the tournament lobby, and click Join Seat. Then I'm back and running. Just happened a few times the first day, and then once tonight...though as badly as I'm playing, it was probably just trying to save me

Yea, usually works if I shut down my other programs before trying.

keeps saying down for maintenance. even if i click on casino games and back, (which usually takes the message away), it still says it's down.

It's strange, too because it seems like only the cash games are down.

bovada must be testing out to see how many players would play zone, which sucks. anon seating and all that worked out really well.

I'm coming back to Ignition since just a few months after Bovada stopped offering poker.

I had never experienced this betsizing/typing issue before but it is happening constantly since I started playing here again. What happens is, when it becomes my turn to act and that table IS NOT the ACTIVE* window, it is impossible for me to type anything into the bet field (box). If the window IS ACTIVE when it becomes my turn, everything works as expected and I can type in the field w/o problems.

* ACTIVE means it is the window that has the focus for mouse or keyboard input. When active, the minimum bet showing in the bet field will be highlighted blue, when not active it is highlighted gray.

I have sent an email to Ignition and after a few exchanges, I have been told it was passed on to the development team. (We'll see.)

I do not use any kind of third party software for HUD or hotkeys so that rules that out as the problem in my case. I'm just curious what could be jacking my setup up while I guess 99.9% of the rest of you do not experience this.

Windows 7 Pro, Ignition client version 4.58 and only use this computer for poker so no other software loaded. I did install Google Chrome and set it as the default only because support asked me to do that.

Had the same lag issue, cleared all cookies off my browser and it is working much faster.

Can someone here post the daily bovada tournament schedule? Also ignition is the exact same thing right?

Anyone have an idea when the next poker promotion will be coming to Ignition? Black Diamond started in February and ended in March. I thought something came along every 6 weeks or so.

Whats the science behind getting rid of the zone stakes that done run as often?

Started playing on Ignition a little while ago (first time playing online) and accepted the BTC bonus not realizing that having to wager in the casino was different from playing poker. My bad on that, should have read the fine print.

Yesterday I was playing a little blackjack to work toward the bonus and made about $500. When I checked back at the poker lobby my poker (aka withdrawable) balance had gone way down. I e-mailed support and they said that my balance was down because the withdrawable balance gets wagered first. This would make sense if I had lost money at blackjack, but since I won shouldn't my withdrawable balance have increased proportionally if not at least stayed the same?

Did I get played by the fine print or do I have a case?

It has to do with the way their bonuses work, if you clear your bonus all the money becomes withdrawable, or if you were to cancel the bonus.
