How many confirmations are required before Bovada will process a BTC deposit? I attempted to deposit some BTC today and there have been 4 confirmations, but the money still hasn't shown up in my Bovada account.

I played for 12 hours yesterday and didn't have a single problem the entire day/night. I ran like absolute dog **** dropping 15 buying, but at least the software was smooth.

As simple as this sounds, I find that always playing after a fresh restart of my computer limits crashes. I too have issues when I try to run Holdem Indicator and Bovada together, or more software. But usually if I'm on a fresh restart it mitigates these issues.

How about this, anyone crashing the client in any way without having the 20 or so Ignition processes popping up in the task manager? As was pointed out earlier in the thread, this seems like the source of that problem.

Correct, it's because they are using chrome. So just like your browser, they are starting a new thread for almost everything you do on there. So limiting what you have open, running your system as clean as possible will help. And I wouldn't run or use chrome while playing on Bovada/Ignition.

promotes casual play and encourages casual players but has software that seemingly crashes upon browsing the net...only the die hards around here these days

Looking at the system processes and seeing like twenty of them just for having the lobby running is lol.

Usually they go through right away. But, I tried to deposit $750 with bitcoin 30 minutes ago to bet the fight, and the deposit hasn't processed yet. Is it possible that the processor is running slow because everybody is trying to load up money to bet on the fight right now? Seems like it would be pretty stupid for a gambling site to not be able to handle an influx of deposits on one of the biggest betting nights of the year. I tried calling them to see whats up, but can't get through

Most have free trials. Drivehud has a 30-day trial and is out of the box compatible.

The only thing right now is Ignition's update is giving everyone's fits, but that will be worked out for everyone eventually.

I'd say Drivehud, but a long distance over anything else. Most have free trials, so you can compare, but this is my personal pick

My laptop had been off for about a week. I fired that up with only Ignition open and it still had 17 Ignition processes lol. So obviously this must be their way of combating players using poker stats programs right?

they're probably just sick of all you apes on your 10 year old machines with windows xp calling them up every day to ***** about the software, so they're trying to make it even worse for you in an effort to make you quit

Withdrew my BR from Ignition since I couldn't even get past the 'liveupdate' window. Deposited on Bovada, but still having all the other issues. Ignition constantly closing out by itself, BSOD windows 10 crash, etc.

This is especially tilting now that there isnt a lobby. Having to go through the same song and dance of trying to get seated at a table that isnt empty every time Bovada/Windows crashes.

I think all these issues are going to have the opposite effect that Bovada intended. They made all of these changes to make the games more rec friendly. But I dont think that fun players are going to be willing to jump through all these hoops to play on Bovada. When a grinder is having all these issues, he is going to jump on 2+2 and try to find a fix. You have people on here who are saying that they are launching the ignition/bovada software upwards of 10 times until it takes and lets them in. I doubt recs are doing this.

I really hope Bovada fixes this before it is completely too late.

These overlays should worry you. I suspect a lot of people have stopped playing because the possibility of being randomly locked out of the tournament is a pretty big deterrent. I used to play several $50+ buyin tournaments everyday, and I never saw any overlays except at weird hours, so if these tournaments have overlays now it's only because they're essentially unplayable. I've fought through the lag, crashes and dc's, but getting locked out of multiple tournaments with big chip stacks was the final straw for me

Usually I would agree that overlays should be worrisome, but I just have to believe that all the degens were out drinking and watching the fight. I mean there was special circumstances today. we will see this week, but im 95% sure it was the fight

No, it's just how chrome functions. It creates new threads for every process. It's more efficient if you're on a win 10 system. If you're not, it can lag your system down over time. From a programming stand point, trying to do what we're doing, it just creates a ton of complexities because now instead of that data being in one stream, it's in 15 or more and different parts of it exists in several.

So, you have to be able to know which one has each piece that you need and put it all together. It's just not easy. I don't think they did it intentionally, I think it was to setup an easier cross platform solution. Although if they had asked me, this isn't what I would have suggested. It's going to cause a lot of other issues for them long term.
