We know that Canada players on bodog.eu share the same tournaments.

They were able to keep playing and raise.

They have all the chips.

I haven't dug into that though to verify the owner. Maybe someone here has. But if you say the links take you back to .lv, then it's probably legit. Surprising though. Must be under the radar.
Not really. Almost all sites do this now. Even ft and PS did this back in the day when stuff got shady for ft.

Yeah, 90 left in a tourney I'm in. First has 1.4 million. 2nd has 1 million, and third and everyone else have like 100k.

Total joke they let this happen. Tournaments should automatically be paused when there is a major outage.

I was 4/4 in the 109 and they gave me 4th place, not a tournament resolution.

Never had a chance to play.

So bodog players were able to raise again.

Was in the $50 $25k guarantee last night. 8k pot, guy bets 4k on river. I have 7.8k behind and site freezes. Anyone know what happens to pot? Did they refund this tourney for anyone or did Canadians on bodog.eu get all the money?

Bodog customer service just assured me that I'm not suffering any negative consequences from the table constantly freezing and me having to close and open it again (praying the transition from 97% to 100% takes less than 20 seconds) because of disconnection protection. There is no disconnection protection when the table freezes.

Each time I explained in the chat what was happening he brought up disconnection protection. Its unbelievable.

It's also cash games froze about 3 times and I just logged off for the night. Also cant top up at table and sometimes when I click an open seat on a table it won't allow me to join. Hopefully they get it in order.

I have grinded the last 2 nights and have been dealing with all the bs, and kept asking myself why I still play on the site. Here's what they DID do that gives me some hope still, and hopefully will for you guys as well. Two nights ago i was in the 25k, and by the time we got reconnected I was knocked out/blinded out(before the money), in which they gave me a $55 credit for which was buy in amount. Last night I had almost 70% of chips in play 4 handed in the 5k, and same **** happened. It was out for about an hour, and they ended up canceling the tournament. Pretty ****ty right? I actually ended up getting credit more than what 1st place was $1600(originally $1400) because of the ICM rule or whatever it's called. I thought that was pretty nice, anway, like I said, hope this helps! Hopefully we don't have to deal with this shnaz for much longer however. They still have great cashout processing and nice fields so i'm not going anywhere.

Probably more related to your bank rather than the site.

This is horrific if true. That would mean they are not doing an ICM chop at all. They must just be awarding a % of the prizepool based on chip %, which is a total joke.

5 nights in a row, the poker client has crashed around 830-930 central time. Most recent was midnight central.

In every outage, bodog.EU players in Canada stay on the tables and raise the blinds.

The last 5 days Canada has won 90% of the tournies yet they're 5% of the player pool!

2) In the $55 25k guarantee I had 26k chips from 5k starting stack and the blinds were 300/600 60 ante. When the site came back I had a little less but the blinds were 800/1600. I quickly busted by having low stack and having to push/fold all-in. Some ppl in the tourney were never disconnected and Stole chips the whole time, this ruins the integrity of the whole tourney. Players should be payed by stack at site failure is the only fair way to do it.

sent to bovada, still waiting on a response and compensation
I emailed them when making this post and emailed them again today. I haven't gotten an email back on either one of them.

I always thought bodog was separate from bovada and players on one could not play on the other

You thought wrong. Bodog88 players also play on the same tables, AFAIK.

This leads me to another very stupid question then why if players on bodog can run issue free on that site why bovada who is a spinoff of bodog can't get their site running properly makes no sense to me Im sure there a logical reason I just don't know it

Just wondering aloud. If The website and client are tied hand-in-hand, suppose a Canadian hacker crashes the website at around 8:30 PM. The same hacker and a few of his friends are all planted in high dollar MTT's. You crash the website, you crash the client.

Finally a comment about this. It was my theory 5 days ago.

I'm expecting the site to go down around prime time again.

If you have friends in canada, make sure they play tonight!
