Keeps saying my internet is down (when it isn't) and crashing, even after uninstall/reinstalling

Doesn't it seem logical that they would have everything set up and then just put it online? For them to take the site down with no pre warning and have it down for so long, kind of raises red flags that there was a big issue somewhere that they had to take it offline right away and try to fix the problem (superusers? doj attacks?)

Actually, this was one of the few times it was done with pre-warning. People were posting about it for a couple of days beforehand.

I can't even get a view of the lobby. The client stays all black, says it's unable to establish a connection, then crashes. Is everyone back up besides me?

Still can't log in - I get some message about my internet connection. Is reinstall necessary?

initial thoughts - my activity monitor on mac seems to indicate they fixed the giant lobby speed errors. My cpu load is way lower than I can remember.

This is about the 4th time I would think to myself you don't seem logical, so please refrain from trying to join the logic Police.

this is actually a great idea

They show how to fix the issue for all windows clients besides what I have, windows 10, lovely.

If someone could post how to fix the issue for Windows 10, that would be extremely kind of you.

Nothing noticeable to the eye has changed. I'll have to play some later and see if it runs more smoothly but nobody going to know for sure until they get a bunch of people online later to see how their servers handle the traffic load.

Some games are missing but give them some time to see if they show up in the lobby later.

It don't look like they had this downtime to change any games they were offering before.

Use magnifying glass icon at bottom left. Search for and select: View Network Connections.

Right-click your network and click Properties.
Select the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) item, and click the Properties button.

Select Use the following DNS server addresses, and enter:

Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8
Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4

Click ok and relaunch Bovada.

This took way longer to "search" then it probably should have. After I found TCP/IP it was easy. It did work, but how the **** should a normal person know to change that?
