i was told they don't/won't do this. support told me to try uninstalling and reinstalling and try requesting the download again -_-.....that does not work

yup I had a $100 bonus and the final $50 came at 500 points, I was expecting to have to get to 750 to release the last $50.

When mine were screwing up when they initially offered HH download I changed bovada to run as administrator and it worked.

I have a friend who hasn't been able to get sound on bovada for months, he has uninstalled and reinstalled etc. Anyone had this problem or know of a fix?

OK, most likely we know the answers, but is it possible he has the sound off?
Check out preferences on Bovada.

I gather he has sound on his computer for all other appropriate apps?

It's been mentioned a few times throughout the thread. It happened to me. I fixed it I think by uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling, rebooting, voila.

about how many many hands would it take approx. to clear 5,000 points to release the full $1K deposit bonus @ 50nl 6 max. is it at all possible to clear that much in the 60 day period playing 50nl/4 tabling?

I'm playing 100nl right now clearing the last 400 of it, but at 50 it worked out to about 3hr a day with 10 days to spare. My strat has been 100 points per day to make it simple.

i wish this was true. tried downloading each individually just now. half of them stayed stuck on "download requested"

As mentioned, she is wrong. I did this for about 40 tables and only four of them worked.

Ok, I've figured out the solution to bovada hand history download.

It's not that you need to reinstall (this did nothing), you just need to delete the folder of hand histories (I made a backup copy first obviously).

So I went to c:\bovada\hand history and copy pasted the 150242 directory to somewhere else and then deleted it. When I logged back in to bovada, all the missing hand histories were there.

I imagine signing in from a different computer would also fix this issue, although you'd have to transfer your hand histories over.

Obviously this only fixes the issue for hands that have happened in the last 7 days. Hopefully Bovada will take care of those who had this happen more than 7 days ago.
