You can enable instant purchases if you add a credit card as a backup payment method. Payment is still made with an ACH transfer from your bank as normal but they release the BTC instantly. Your credit card won't be charged unless the ACH fails (along with a 3% penalty).
You should also try creating a Circle account... they may give you a higher limit, and it's good to have accounts on both as a backup anyway.
Circle also does let you purchase instantly for free with a debit card.
You might be able to find websites willing to sell for other methods like PayPal, or as GutZ mentioned sellers on LocalBitcoins, but you may have to pay a premium for the convenience and the risk they are taking.
