Hi guys, in a bad spot at the moment and any advice would be great. So after a hiatus I returned to bovada and deposited a bit over 3k via BTC. I first sent the funds from my Electrum wallet to blockchain, then deposited to Bovada. Unfortunately I think I screwed up as I sent the money on to Bovada before the payments had been processed/confirmed in my Electrum wallet. The 15 minute deposit window came and went with no success even though the funds had left my blockchain wallet.

It's now 48 hours later and beyond support sending me generic emails back and forth asking for proof of the transaction which I've provided, I'm no closer to getting my money back even though it clearly shows the address they specified has received the funds via the 'visualize transaction' function of blockchain.

More info on the transaction was that both the initial electrum payment to blockchain and the payment on to Bovada reached 260 confirmations, not sure what that means exactly but seems very high. Hoping I haven't somehow set fire to the funds.

You just have to deal with the headache that is Bovada support.

Just show them the transaction and give them time to credit your account. In the future you can just send direct from electrum you don't need to use a blockchain wallet.

Mine too; almost right to the 48th hour.

Have you done any recently? cause it appears they are getting quicker. it's been 1.5 months since I have done one.

That's interesting.

I requested a small $815.00 check on Weds, July 27th @ 5:35pm. As of yesterday at 3pm (closing in on exactly 4 days) the withdrawal was still pending/"unreviewed" (per CS email).

Even during their highest volume withdrawal times and that VFF debacle back in March, I've never had a withdrawal request (check or VFF) sit in a pending state for longer than 37 hours..with the vast majority actually processed within 2-6 hours of request. It's certainly taken anywhere from 2 to 20 business days to receive the funds but that's beside the point.

I finally called at 3pm yesterday, explained, rep put me on quick hold, came back and stated "the withdrawal team has actually just finished the first stage of review" and that I "should see the funds removed from my account shortly as the final stage of processing is pending". I guess she was right
because about 45 minutes later I finally got the Processed email.

I suspected that players who are still requesting checks might just be at the bottom of the list for withdrawal requests. A quick review on here shows people are consistently being processed well within the 48 hr window for BTC while my check request just sat for 2 days, then 3...

I finally caved and opened a BC wallet and CB account. Yesterday at 4:30pm I requested a "test" $150.00 BTC withdrawal to my BC. That is still pending after 16 hours.

I'm skeptical, concerned really, about a lot of things I see now, which is what this post is really about. I was putting in heavy MTT volume up until late April, did not play at all in May or June, returned mid-July to see that site traffic is definitely down.

As the most obvious example, the Nightly 30K is now the Nightly 25K? At this time last year (middle of summer in North America when online volume is typically a little slower) they didn't have to drop it from 30K to 25K. I recall most days in the middle of last summer it consistently exceeded the 30K guarantee.

Further evidence can be seen in the $33/15-min level that starts an hour earlier. Last year at this time it was a 15K Guarantee, never faltering..now I've seen it at a couple odd numbers, like 8K or 7K, I think even as low as 5K. Yesterday, their $55/50K/Second Chance SMPO Event had an overlay. Wow. I've never seen that on their final day of a series (obv a Sunday, no less). I mean, an overlay here or there is good for poker players in the short run but it's the potential reasons why Bovada is experiencing reduced MTT traffic that concern me.

At the start of this year, because of my home situation, I had to switch to a morning/afternoon schedule (yea, ugh on the guarantees). Anyway, when my schedule allowed me to return to MTTs in mid July I was fairly stunned by the slow down in traffic in the earlier tourneys as well.

So, looking at Bovada with fresh eyes from April, it is clear they are 1) Struggling to meet their guarantees and 2) Struggling to meet their cashout window on (at least) checks. I was creeping up on 4 days pending when I called and, fairly conveniently, less than an hour after my call it was finally pushed through. Also interesting that they have pushed the funds-received window for checks out to "an average of 15 business days" when as recently as May 6th it was "an average of 10 business days". VFF appears to be gone indefinitely.

Concerning to me when I see year-over-year traffic down on my site coinciding with longer withdrawal windows and disappearing withdrawal options.

The cashout I received today took a little over 24 hours so it is getting a bit better.

Sounds odd, are you able to make buys with your listed bank yet?

Sounds like they want you to fund your account with your linked bank maybe? Either way I would look into Circle Pay seems to go alot smoother with Circle than Coinbase.

This is really frustrating. I wish I just requested a check at this point. My money is basically stuck on coinbase. I cant verify my bank account for some reason, I made a circle account, but I cant send it there because it says I dont have enough money in my account, even though I do. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh

On Coinbase go to settings then click payment methods.

Coinbase pings your checking account for two tiny amounts.

Although If you have a bitcoin balance you should be able to just send it to any address/wallet you want.

This.

I've had a coinbase account for a couple of years now. Seems you can just do the deposit verification. It takes a couple of days for the deposit to show up.

I don't think there is a withdrawal limit. From circle to your bank account.

You might be getting this confused with the deposit limit. The deposit limit is $300 and for some people the increase was instant. For others it took a few weeks.

Keep us updated Shizz.. I use this method frequently also. It's slower than BTC but I think it's less risky.

Bovada has been nice lately for payouts, but now i also have an issue with them by my dumb mistake

BTC Method;

Req: 7/30 $400
App: 7/30 (???? Fastest its ever been done)
In wallet: 7/30

Now, I recently encountered and issue with a bitcoin deposit. I clicked deposit with bitcoin and entered in the wrong value, so I clicked "change amount" and changed it to the correct value before submitting. I went back to complete my deposit, copied everything exactly over and hit "I've Completed my deposit" before sending. (I was a little inebriated) I then x'd on accident, went into my blockchain account and send it to the bitcoin address that i had copied. It completed the transaction through blockchain, confirmed and everything but I never received money on Bovada? (side note is I used a 125% bonus on it, but when i went into deposit, the bonus was still there).

So now i am in the process of sending pictures to Bovada, but do they keep record of all the Bitcoin addresses they generate?

the most used by posters itt are coinbase and bitpay visa card. there are several other slightly less attractive options like trading btc to people on this site, or using localbitcoin.

this doesn't make sense. this is probably why your circle account is under review.

u need a personal btc wallet, like blockchain for example. u could also use others like multibit, electrum, etc.

circle and coinbase do the same thing. no reason to send from one to another.

funds should go from your bank acc > circle or coinbase > personal wallet > bovada, and reverse for wd's.

watch these videos if u haven't already: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...ostcount=22920

all of them. higher probability of getting funds faster if u use one of the major money center banks like the top ones listed here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o..._United_States

the singapore checks can be dep. via atm & probably mobile bank apps.

if ur concerned with speed of receiving funds, u can take the check into the teller at your bank and ask if funds will be available next day or if they will have to send the check to collections since it's international.

as someone else said, there may be a connection between the issuing bank in singapore and bee oh ayy, so u may want to start there.

he should be able to. all bovada sees is the btc address u send the funds from, so just create a new address in your blockchain and send funds to it, then send them from that address to his bovada account.

u sent from your personal wallet (blockchain/multibit/electrum/etc.) to an exchange (or "broker" as in the case of circle/coinbase)?

funds are stored by default as usd in circle, but i'm not sure what u mean by "Currently waiting on exchange to USD."

i didn't do id verification with circle or bitpay iirc.

i don't see any reason to leave a balance on blockchain.

as far as circle/coinbase goes, end the fed (this thread's btc expert) has suggested using bitcoin for as many "normal" things as u can, so u don't look suspicious to circle/coinbase.

like using it to buy things from established btc retailers, sending/receiving $ from friends, etc.

coinbase support should be able to help u get that issue squared away. there should be alternatives to using said checking account as well, like using a debit card to cash out to.

as someone else said, u should be able to send your funds elsewhere also, but it sounds to me like coinbase support would get u squared away with all those issues pretty quickly.
