So I switched to one that rymes with cargo and I elected to try a check again. But I am curious about bank-wires. 1.8% isn't bad at all for the amount of time it took you. Curious if you use a well known national bank and if so which one... (I know you can't post names but I'm sure you can come up with a creative way to tell me which bank you use) lol. Thanks again.
I have to get creative because of how brief the name is...

21-19 space 2-1-14-11 .

Replace those numbers with the corresponding letters of the alphabet and you have my bank. I have used them for all checks and now this wire. I always use the ATM for checks.

You can try and maybe Maria and the customer service counter will go for it. However, Bovada will tell you to only deposit the check.

Received it this morning 1/9, only about 39 dollars in fees.

As long as reports are that checks are coming in a decent timeframe, i'm 100% doing a check next time for amounts under 6k, could have had two checks delivered and cleared by now.

im not worried so much about recieving the check but i have a fairly small credit union as a bank and i dont know if you can deposit via ATM and im wondering if i will have problems depositing the check via a teller.

Using an algo, your very question was anticipated before you even asked it and an answer provided in the this very thread. It is very simple to find if you don't mind reading a couple of the most recent pages.

UPDATE:

My check got APPROVED. For my bank you need to do it upfront with the teller. You can't deposit it via ATM.

You get one free check per calendar month, so you don't get charged for the first one, but you'll get charged for the second one.

I've been trolling Google since I decided to cashout from bovada on Monday via western union. It was approved Monday morning. I was seeing if it usually takes this long for a western union payout thanks

I've seen 7-10 business days from approval to receive cash in hand. I've also seen total time of less than 48 hours. You're still well within the normal range.

hmm, just did my 1st cashout on bovada yesterday, I did the western union and paid a pretty hefty fee in hopes to get the money in their 3 day quoted timeframe to go play some wsop circuit events over the weekend and 1st half of next week, so I am really hoping its there tomorrow, hence the reason why I am on here to find out what the estimated WU timeframes are.

This thread is full of people reporting timeframes for cashouts. Did you bother to review the last few hundred posts?

but I noticed checks are coming in about a week, if its going to take longer than the 3 days to get a WU there really isn't any reason to pay the high WU fee's

Except some people don't have any option besides WU, for very specific reasons. But it sounds like you have it all figured out so good luck.

lol, whats your deal? obv I just said it is my 1st withdrawal on bovada, so if I read its going to cost me 200.00 to withdrawal 2k and It plainly says I will receive it in 1-3 business days I have no reason to think they are lying to me, but having negative exp with almost every online site I have played on I thought I would come on 2+2 and see how its going for other people, all I was saying is if I cant get the 2k in 3 days like they said and I am seeing other people getting checks in a week they why should I pay 200.00, your saying that some people don't have check option, that might be the case for me too I don't know, I do know that its usually the other way around, you have the check option but not a WU option, so as a newbie to bovada I would only assume that I have a check option, not sure why your coming off towards me the way your are.

Let me help you out. First, the info I gave regarding WU timeframes is accurate as they've been hit or miss lately. That's doesn't mean you won't get your money tomorrow, as that's possible.

Also, there are certain US States that Bovada will only allow WU withdraws, just for your info.

Further, I'd recommend contacting Bovada support directly to assure all your concerns are addressed.

This week we learned that DHL is a company that delivers packages, and if the scary 16 year old girl asks where your money came from, you can tell her whatever the hell you want. Tune in next week where we discuss what to do with your hands while waiting in line for the next available teller.
