cmon people, weve been through all this before. neteller ring a bell? money was stuck for 6+ months, and the "sky was falling" then too.

these sites arent based in the us. they have been flouting the law since 2006. nothing is going to change, except that it will become progressively harder to move money.

Well Stars has already stopped serving the US, so I'd say some things are going to change.

yes, i agree with that gambool. i guess i mis-spoke a bit. im just saying that this is part of the cost of doing business. we all know that. you have to react to this kind of stuff in the current climate, and that means heading to bodog and merge imo.

Anyone able to cash? Direct bank transfers are usually processed within a few hours of my requests, just went 24 hours and the money is still sitting in my account.

1:57 p.m. PDT: PokerNews has contacted Bodog for a comment on the recent events, and according to a Bodog representative it is "business as usual at Bodog for U.S. customers."

they indicted three sites at once for a reason. If indictment of other sites was imminent they would have indicted them along with the others. Not saying that Bodog is in the clear, but I think it is safe to say that nothing is imminent.

Requested two direct debit withdrawals today. The first went through, waiting on the 2nd. Still keeping some $ in there though.

I went to W@lmart today to try and cash the check, and it wasn't accepted. They gave me the number to the check verification company to call, and from the prerecorded message it sounds like it's not that it's necessarily bad, but it was classified as "risky". I went ahead and deposited into my B@nk o @m$ric@, and the bank on the check is the same, so we will see.

Anyone else cash any Bodog checks lately?

LMFAO...I just had to comment...I love it when people on this site act like they're damn secret agents or something...Yea, because I am sure the FBI is following this thread for evidence...And so what if we do say a bank name?? Bank Of America, Wachovia, Suntrust, Wells Fargo, Riverside...Uh-oh I hope I didn't just get the rest of the sites shut down.

I sent an email to Bodog asking what would happen if my check was returned. This is their reply:

Thank you for contacting Bodog Poker Customer Service.

With regard to the recent disruption at several poker sites, these events do not involve Bodog.com, Morris Mohawk or any other Bodog Brand Licensees. The Morris Mohawk Gaming Group, who operates the Bodog.com gaming business, is studying the implications of this event on indigenous rights and will, as always, notify our players as soon as possible if there are any changes.

Please note that if you get any issue with your check you can send us the copy of the returning check and also the copy of your bank statement this is because some banks charge customers to deposit or change not valid checks and we can provide you with that money back for this inconvenient.

Thank you very much for writing. Should you have any questions, or require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Regards,

This looked good but I want you guys to note that you can't withdraw more than you have deposited in 30 days. Meaning, you can only withdraw UP TO the amount you have deposited, in the first month.

It had a couple nice payout options though. You can talk to live support as well. Of course, at this time and for the foreseeable future, I can't recommend trying to play anywhere online.
