I tell them I do web design essentially and they tell me my story and the check raises red flags. They make me wait awhile and then put me on the phone with a rude loss prevention lady who told me the check is fake 100% and im being scammed etc etc. I am like look just please put it on hold Im certain its good and it will clear. She basically calls me an idiot and says she will put it on a 14 day hold but when it does not clear I owe a $15 fee, whatever. I deposited it and hopefully it clears, but has anyone else had such a big hassle with checks? I will say the checks are pretty odd, says its from singapore but also to newyork so Im hoping everything works out.
I had my account closed by Flrst Merlt bank last summer for trying to deposit a Singapore check. I deposited via ATM, next day they called me telling me the check is fake (despite me trying to tell them otherwise) and even hilariously threatened to call the police on me - they closed my account and sent me a check for the balance. The Singapore checks do look really suspect.

Your account shows that you were compensated for this issue before and we're unable to again.

Should you have any questions, or require any further assistance, please let us know.

Sold BTC on Coinbase today and transferred to my bank account... did all this before hearing about their processing issues . Will update when funds hit bank.

Coinbase has issued an official response saying issue has been resolved: https://community.coinbase.com/t/off...hdrawals/11086

Even with them saying the issue has been resolved and everyone effected will get their funds by Thursday, it's still unwise to deal with Coinbase, giving their apparent history of handling matters, including this. I never paid much attention to their community forum until this incident and in hindsight, had I, I wouldn't have used them in the first place, avoiding this mess.

In this incident alone, they ignored emails, mislead people in live chat and worst of all, still allowed people to continue to do transactions, giving them known false completion time frames, even after they knew there was an issue. Outside of this incident, there are other issues revealed in their community forum which demonstrate this is not an isolated case with the way they handle matters.

Who knows how bad the next potential incident will be and be handled there, I'll take this incident as a warning and not do business with them again.

VFF Request:

Sent 4/24
Approved 4/25
Processed: 5/7
Received: TBD

Called again today after being told to wait another week and they now requested printouts of my bank statement from 4/25 onward (odd because it was processed on 5/7). The rep said I would be contacted in 24-48 hours. I immediately complied.

Anyone have to do this before and got good news? Or did they continue to provide excuses?

Looking to make a wire withdrawal. I have C1-360 and WF, has anyone had success withdrawing to either? Would appreciate any PM regarding this.

I'm in a similar boat. I requested and was approved for VFF on 4/21. Last week they asked for my bank statement. I sent it and received a vague response telling me VFF withdrawals take 10-15 from the processing date so keep waiting.

Vff received: still waiting.

I thought I would have hit soon once I got the "sent for processing" email, but haven't gotten anything yet. I'm tempted to call/email bovada, but I really don't want to deal with them right now. So I guess I'll just wait and hope it comes soon, unless someone thinks it's bad to not call/email customer service.
I still don't have anything from the above withdrawal. Today is the 10th business day since the processing email. But in the past the funds took nowhere near 10 business days after getting the processing email.

use a major bank and those checks go through the atm, the ones from the north you do have to go to a teller tho. obviously i prefer the ones like you got but i deposited one from the north yesterday and the funds are already available today

Is there a reason no one seems to use the Bank Wire withdrawal option? On paper it seems like it'd be best.

EDIT: Apparently Coinbase support has finally "officially" responded (check the above link) and saying it's been resolved, all funds will be received by Thursday May 26th. Be that as it may, considering how this was all seemingly handled by them, I won't be using them again.
Yea, they handled it just like Bovada with the shady VFF runarounds. Once a company has shown dishonesty, it is hard to ever fully trust them again.

Just got an email back telling me:

"Due to recent technical issues experienced by our provider, your withdrawal has been delayed. Your withdrawal will be credited to your card in approximately 10 business days. We can assure you that your funds are secure and your withdrawal will be sent as soon as possible.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and we appreciate your continued patience. Feel free to contact our Customer Service team should you have any questions regarding your account."

Why is it that I feel like it won't be? That'll be two more weeks at least if they're being honest.

do fees for withdrawing more than once a month apply if using different wd methods each time, or btc for all of them?

for example, if i wd using the a----o debit card option, then wd during the same month via check, do i have to pay a fee?

how about for multiple btc wd's during same month? or one wd via btc and another via debit card?

I just got this exact email after emailing them this afternoon. Why did I not receive this email until I contacted them? So if I hadn't emailed them, it would just be 10 days from whenever I first emailed them? It makes no sense, not that I thought anything they told me would make sense.

A lot of people don't have the option due to getting hit with "known poker player" tag. It was my preferred method of cash out when it was available for me.

Business day 46: Still no credit for VFF approved and "processed" 3/21. Contrary to what many post on this thread, bovada continues to inform me that they will not credit funds back to bovada account. The wait continues.

Right? They told me over the phone there was an issue with the provider, but never told me this. Two phone calls after that and I have to submit my bank statement, and then I submit it and I get that? Why would I need to submit my bank statement if they knew it was an issue on their side all along? Seems an awful lot like smoke and mirrors to me.
